I'm a 26 year old female from the Philippines and I'm trying to find my Japanese father. I was born in the Philippines and don't remember any memories with him as I was only 5 years old when he and my mom separated. They weren't married, but he lived with us in the Philippines until he flew back to Japan when they separated. We never heard from him ever since then, and my mom never tried to reach out because he was abusive towards her which was the reason for separation.
He acknowledged me in my birth certificate in the Philippines. His name is Kazuaki Kato. His occupation is listed as "Company Owner."
All I know is his home province was in Oita, Kyushu . He has a son way older than me, but I have never met him nor learned his name. I only have pictures with him and his acknowledgement on my birth certificate.
Do you have any advice on how I can go about searching him? I would appreciate your help or insights! Thank youuu!
