Looking for Japanese Muslims


I'm sorry to tell you this but the reason why Japanese people are respectful is because we're foreigners and they don't treat us like citizens. ^^;;; If you were a full-blood Japanese citizen, they treat you like a normal person. I have full-blooded Japanese friends, and one of them, who lived here for few years, said that they don't treat respectfully towards other citizens locally.
 

hahaha....well i will go to nihon one day to live there...and why i love japan and the people there is their overwhelming respect and kindness... like you said...
 
wow it's so nice to finally see a forum involving Islam without a bunch of misunderstood and misjudged quotes from the Koran being posted in attack mode! and i never imagined that there would be so many Japanese muslims, that's awesome! I wish there'd be a documentary about them and other "unexpectedly" Muslim people around the world, maybe people wouldn't stereotype so much about Muslims. it's about time....!

はじめまして。 my name is zoheib and im british. I went to japan on a working holiday for my gap year after high school. i taught english in tokyo for half a year. im now studying medicine at the university of leeds. im a member of the luu japanese society at university as well as being the general secretary of the islamic society. im going back to japan for 2 weeks inshallah just before going back to university in mid-september.

any questions on muslim life in japan, i will try and answer the best i can, especially related to tokyo.

Actually, I do have information that mdaim2010 is not actually a Japanese national, but does live in Japan at the moment. Out of curiosity, though, izzie san, are you a practicing Muslem?
 
Actually, I am a non-theist agnostic...but have studied a fair amount of religious belief-system doctrine. I am, I will admit, weak in the area of Islam.

I would still feel that there would be a difference between a 'practicing' Muslem and a 'nominal' Muslem, however.

Salam everyone, Iam muslim too but live in Canada. Love Japanese stuff and hope to go there someday. Seeing all of the other brothers makes me happy
 
Islam and Muslims

In Fact, Islam is a relegion that involve many rules and manners designed by Allah (The Creator). These rules and manners are absolutely true, because Allah create all creatures including human being and He is the most one know the right and useful for human and that wrong and unuseful for man. these rules and mannars are all present in holly quran, the holly book from Allah to his prophit Mohammad. on another hand, Muslem should opey the orders and rules desgined by Allah. In fact not all muslims do that, like any nation rules not all people opey the rules. So, muslims may not appear in islamic picture needed by Allah. In these cases many non-muslims think that islam is not good, but in fact, Islam is the god relegion and absolutely true, but not all muslims appear in the well needed islamic manners.

salam! this is my first post....i am a muslim from kuwait and im so excited after knowing that theres japanese muslims...now i cant wait to go to japan. I'm a big fan of the anime and manga culture but i dont think i have time to visit japan anytime soon but inshallah i will in the future ^_^
