you're right and there are many kanjis or Chinese characters that mean most pronouns .... but I asked my japanese teacher before and she told it's not common in japanese and they use 私than other kanjis ...

oh, so 我が is still used in normal writing in japanese? hehe, since i only know japanese from anime/game, i thought it was like samurai /archaic kind of language that they don't use often in real life.. like 忝い (かたじけない)
i hear 我が名は... or 我が[.. ]よ often used in anime when the speaker is using royalty language or something.
