Learning to read Japanese

Sorry i'm sure you guys get these threads all the time but i was wondering whats the best way to start learning how to read Japanese, i would like to learn for mostly nerdy things like manga and video games but i have absolutely no idea where to start learning, i'm sure it wont be easy or fast but i would love to know where to start.

How much Japanese do you know? If you don't know any Japanese whatsoever, you need to learn Hiragana and Katakana. You can find study tips using these videos.

If you've mastered that and want to continue studies, I'd recommend continuing to watch her videos. They're very helpful and easy to understand.
