Ok i just checked, so basically we use GMT+1 in continental Europe, at the very moment its 9:22 in New York and 15:22 here in Europe, thats a six hour difference, so basically if you live somewhere around NY the difference is 4 hours since we decided to use GMT instead of Paris time. You probably go to school, and umm i'd like to know when can you log on? Just check the time and add 4 hours, (if you live around NY ofc, if you live further away you might have to add more. 21 GMT might be good, but then again it might not be good, its up to jmwintenn and EvilCowSlayer.Both of you, suggest a time (GMT format) please.
And umm... might be a good idea to get some japanese people aswell, do you perhaps know anyone who would want to practise his/her pronounciation or anything? I suppose i could post a topic in the Learn English forums, think it would be a good idea?

Well, I certainly suppose it's past 21:00 GMT by now, isn't it? Looks like that'd be 4:00 for me. I should be able to make that tomorrow.
Edit: Although one has to consider, while those times may work out for us, it wouldn't work for our Japanese comrades. 4:00 PM for me is 5:00 AM for them. I know they like the English language enough to study it on their own time and all, but I'm equally sure they're not so keen to wake up at 5:00 AM just so they can hear my broken Japanese.

Donnie you see its easy for us cause we're in the same timezone, but you can't expect americans to to get online at 18:00 GMT for you cause they probably have other stuff to do at that time, they're probably at school or working. In my opinion we have to use the weekends, cause on weekends our free time probably overlaps by quite a bit. So basically my suggestion is 22 GMT on saturday's and sunday's. It will probably suit us all. Its not too late for europeans and not too early for americans. So you folks agree?

Ok after long thinking, analyzation and negotiation we came to an agreement, now the next step should be to decide what are we gonna do. I don't think we need to worry much about kana and kanji, learning those isn't really a group activity, grammar doesn't sound tempting either, so we're left with practise. Although if you find this wrong im up for anything.
Oh yeah, EvilCowSlayer, jmwintenn i think you should find a time to check the server to see if everything is okay, just for a few seconds. I'll pm the details.
