I am Legend (Will Smith) Wasn't what I expected to see and it made me think of what I would have done in his situation. Overall a great movie to see.

Great movie! I liked it, and it tells the truth about terrorisme, in the movie Nanahara Shuya tells that the AK-47 (Kalashnikov) is the weapon of all guerilla fighters. Wich is true.
The movie was good and just like the 1st movie it touched me and inspired me and made me thinking about the world.

The Girl Next Door
The Girl Next Door follows the unspeakable torture and abuses committed on a teenage girl in the care of her aunt...and the boys who witness and fail to report the crime.
Pretty touching film, also cruel...
Didn't knew what to expect first, since it's also classified as horror for some reason and I generally get a whole different idea of something horror/thriller, but this turned out to be a touching drama with lots of suspense later on...and also based on a true story, so that makes it more intense. Definitely worth watching.

I had the pleasure of watching.. "I am Legend"
I won't give the movie away but... Aliens come down at the end and beam him up to their mother ship. They probe and poke at Will til' his breaking point... after going ape shiznit on the aliens while in space..Will takes over the ship and drives over to the alien planet with revenge on his mind and a sinister snarl on his face.. (to be continued)
Wait for the sequel...(i'm joking of course)

Tranformers
Tranformers,
failed all my expectations. I have rented from Tsutaya, and feel like i spent money for garbage.
This move is not for kids and not for adults. Only for stupids. (that makes me stupid too!)
Not for kids because, hero's girlfriend is too sexy. Through the film the girlfriend apealing her sexuality to the left and right, sectret service officer making joke on her. At the end heros are almost making love on top of the car (on transformer???). Romantic view and etc., too stupid ending. No meens to hurt anyone, but she looks real b*tch.
Not for adults, because film story is too unlogical. Why after all, a week boy should bring the cube to the roof, while any other friendly transformer could do it quickly and safier? Then on the roof bad transformer is aksing litlle boy to give back the cube, why not just take it away without any questions? At the end good tranformer named something like Primus Sifilus is calling for all tranformers in cosmos. Why??? What they are going to do on earth? For elderly person the story looks like a tale with sexy babies.

Sweeney Todd. I've always been a fan of Tim Burton films, and any film with both Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter sounds like an instant favorite. Both did an excellent job playing their roles.
I loved how grim and bloody it was but, at the same time, how hilarious it was. I definitely found myself laughing during certain scenes. The songs were catchy, and some lyrics were pretty amusing. I recommend it.

Yesterday I went to see 'Hitman' in the cinema. It's based on a computer game having the same name. It's about an assassin who has been raised to become one since the day of his birth, so he's like the best in what he does. The movie is about a mission he gets from a client to kill the president of Russia. It doesn't really work out that way and he's been tracked by Europol and Russian police..
A nice movie if you are merely into action scenes. The story itself is by far extraordinary.

I think Hostel and Hostel II was a bit to cruel/gory...I'll even pass on part III

Randomly selected teenagers receive deadly messages on their cell phones, with their own last words/cries sent from three days in the future. Can you fight destiny? Even more importantly, can you afford to throw away your cell phone?
Pretty good movie, one more in the series of yurei* movies, but not the least I would say...you would think it is once more like Ring or The Grudge...well in a way it is, but then again you might be mistaken if you think that this will make the plot predictable. I also watched the trailer of the hollywood remake that will come out in 2008 (if I'm not mistaken) and I think that one wont be as good actually, even though some similarities.

i just ordered a bunch of movies, but im not allowed to watch them without my friend in new york ;_; i have casshern, dororo, jade warrior, gimme heaven, heaven can wait... maybe (that name! XDDDDDD), shinobi , death note 1 & 2, sakuran, love letter, versus, battlefield baseball, ichi the killer, and battle royale... im so excited

Ping pong was a funny movie! I would recommend you too see "GO" if you like the actor Yousuke from Ping pong.
The last movie I have seen was "The Banquet" with Zhang Ziyi. A pretty nice movie, even though I expected a lot more action scenes in it...

I've just finished "The kingdom" with Jamie Fox, and I really enjoyed watching this movie. I am a big (well big, I'm a newbie in him) Mr J. Fox fan, and it's really nice to see him act in this movie. The story was also very nice! One of the better movies of the year.

The most recent movie that I watched was "Poltergeist". Of course it's not a new movie, nor is it the first time that I saw it, but...
When I first saw that movie when cable was new (I saw it on cable first), it scared the crap out of me. Especially that insane clown in the bedroom! Watching it now, 26 years after its release, I could see it in a very different light. I don't find it scary this time, but rather nostalgic.

Although I have to say that although I knew it was coming, that stupid clown got me again! (But only for an instant this time. Whew!)

American Gangster.
A very nice movie, with great acting of both Russell Crowe and one of my favorites Denzel Washington. The movie, which is now listed as number 167 in the top 250 from IMDB, is a movie that is still in my head even though it has already been 2 days since I have seen it, the last time that happened was probably with the LOTR, which has been a while.
I also needed to think abit about the movie the Godfather with this movie. It's a pity that this movie only took 3 hours though.

For me, that would be Cloverfield. Reviewers called it a cross between The Blair Witch Project and Godzilla, or a monster movie for the YouTube generation as an attack by a big old nasty monster on New York City is shown from the point of viewer of the ordinary guy on the street filming the whole thing with a handheld camcorder.
As a lifelong fan of the monster movie genre, I have to say I've seen better, viewers never get to fully see the beastie until the very end of the flick, nor is it revealed just what the hell the thing was, where it came from or if it was killed at the end. Meanwhile, the herky-jerky cinematography throughout the film was rather unnerving at times and was said to have actually made people sick.

Agree, it was amazing to see how they did that to NY.
I didn't like the end of it though... I was expecting a HAPPY ending... lol
For the rest it was a very nice movie, and some moments scared the hell out of me hahaha.

The last movie I saw at a theatre was in Kinshicho and it was Night at the Museum. I don't go to many movies. I can't sit that long or pay attention that long either. I mainly watch comedies or very light movies. I don't like to much stress or anxiety for that I can watch the new for free....

The story takes takes place in a chaotic, desolate future world where the streets are filled with zombies. The result of a series of mad experiments by deranged scientist Sugita, the zombies know how to use weapons and can be trained to form an undead army. Luckily for the few human survivors, there're a pair of dangerous women roaming the land, wearing barely enough clothing to hide their weapons, and dedicated to destroy all zombies.
Overall pretty good and close to the game...lots of gore and slashing heads and limbs off. The main character (Aya) might look a bit weird and cheap with the combination of cowgirl stuff and what looks like a x-mass stripper outfit, but as we all know, characters in games and manga often have unusual clothing. The blood that guts over the cameras once in a while is pretty pleasing to
Not One To Watch for everyone, but definitely for the fans of the game or this kind of cheap productions.
