Ken was nice too...When Tetsu was pretty. He's not pretty anymore.

And Sakura was hot too. xDD
 
i voted for Hyde (because...well, we all know whyXD!!) but i also like Yukihiro... i fell in love with him when i heard trick and pther songs sung by him... he's sweet and cute, makes me want to hug him =^.^=!!
 
Oooo, it's hard to choose which is my favourite... they are all good musicians! If I have to put instrumentalness and looks both together, I have to say.... Tetsu. :-)
 
The shallow girl in me says, really should stop being shallow * Knocks myself in the head*,Ken. Haven't seen so many pics of larcu, but Ken have been the most handsome on the ones I've seen😌

Three guesses who I voted for 😌 eh heh heh heh. Yeah, I'm a Hyde fangirl through and through. But one question: WHERE IS SAKURA ON THIS POLL?!?!?!?!
 
Has to be Hyde, he is absolutely gorgeous and his voice is still incredible! Although Ken is hilarious, and just so cute too!!
 
It was a toss-up between Ken and Hyde.

Ken has got to be the strongest composer of the group, having written most of the 'epic' (dramatic, climatic, etc.) songs like Forbidden Lover, Jojoushi, tsuioku no jookei, kaze no yukue, Butterfly's Sleep, etc. And also, it goes without saying that his solos are the highlights of each song. Each solo fits tightly with each song, and each have their unique flair.

Hyde has also written a lot of great songs, like Ophelia and Anemone, but he tends to alternate between the poppier, commercially successful sounds of Honey (which I tend not to like) and the epic sounds of those ones mentioned here. In addition, his vocals are strong and easily distinguishable from other musicians. Even the soundalikes who have sprung up in the past don't have the same quality of intonation and variation that he has.

I ended up going for Hyde, simply because I liked his solo works better, even though I know we're talking about in the context of L'arc en Ciel. ROENTGEN showed that he can do soft, flowing, rich compositions, while I couldn't really get into Ken's SOAP works. If I had looked only at L'arc en Ciel stuff, I probably would have picked Ken.

In person, they both seem cool. However, Ken has a rather high-pitched voice that I would have never expected before hearing him speak. It got on my nerves (yeah, I'm superficial). Also, Hyde has this kind of reserved nature backstage sometimes, that I find a little endearing.
 
Yeah, I'd have to say that Hyde and Ken are two of the better composers in the band. I think I personally like Hyde's work better then Ken's. Songs like As One, My Dear, and Honey are some of my favorite J-Rock songs ever. But some of Ken's work is also very high on my list, I think Forbidden Lover ALONE gives Hyde a run for his money. But in the end why I think Hyde's my fav band member is that his lyrices are a good head and shoulders above anyone else's and also like you said his voice is amazing.

And while I'm thinking of composers in Laruku, Yukihiro needs to write more of their music. Revelation was my favorite song by Laruku for the longest time and his co-work with Hyde on New World produced an amazing song. Yeah, he needs to write more.

it was the first laraku song that really got my attention
and witch i really liked. I even downloaded the there new album :-)

anyways after discovering that there pretty good
and went on with my search and found more great laraku stuff.

Yeah, I justed ordered another Laruku album with my X-mas money. I'm getting "Ray" woot but I have to import it :eek: it's costing me like $40+ and it'll take nearly two weeks for it to get to me. :21: So irksome. But that's not nearly as bad as "666" by Hyde which I also ordered. It won't arrive until like late JANUARY!!! I REALLY wish I could download albums...oh, well. But hey, at least I'm getting them, right? :-)
 
Yeah - and you can have a clear conscience, unlike me, who is constantly feeling like I'm not supporting bands enough; besides having recurring nightmares that my house is gonna get raided and all my precious j-rock that's burned get taken away from me... 😭

I work in an office, also.
People could think, I don't have much work to do 😊 that's not true... I just get easily distracted from my work... because it's more fun to post on forums... 😆
 
Heeheehee, yeah my mom works at an office too (she's in acounting) and she and I e-mail all the time when she's supposed to be working. 😊

well, i voted for tetsu! hahaha....i love hyde also but a lil more love went to tetsu....
 
I like HYDE the most (along with 50 million other people :/) because of his amazingly strong voice and weird dance moves. Ahah. They're all very cool, though. It's very interesting how they could play multiple instruments (for instance, P'Unk~en~Ciel). They rock so hard :)
 
i of course ADORE HYDE!!! I believe HYDE can sing, not the bestest (ignore the grammer) singer i have heard (especially when he sings really high) but still a very good entertainer, GREAT in concert (OTAKON 2004!!) and such a great actor!! But above all he is my short little midget :LOL:
but after him i would have to choose yukihiro, he is an awesome drum player with awesome hair!!
