I've been thinking about taking it for a long time, but I know nothing about business, in English or any other language. How much of the test was 専門用語 geared at business-minded people?

There was a lot of 専門用語 but not in regards to business and it really tests your ability in regards to keigo. As for the need to be business minded, it is not needed at all, it focus on the understanding of conversation and kanji in business letters etc,etc. I did find the listening to be the biggest part to getting a good score.

I hope for a pretty high score in the J1+ level, BTW

You can take the test in London my friend.

Or in "Solt Lake City" in the US if you like.
