Japanese Wordle

Have any of you latched onto the Wordle craze? I'm on my 15th day and still kicking myself because I didn't successfully solve one day.

I was just thinking how would a Japanese version look like? I think you'd need more than six guesses because there's no way to narrow things down like we do in English using vowels.

I do the daily Wordle every morning in bed before I get up. I've managed to fluke the answer in two guesses a couple of times.

There's been a lot of media about it as even celebrities have been tweeting about it and because some some a-hole tried to cash in on it.

A lot of the media coverage has been very positive - about how it is free, advert-free and designed not to take up too much of your time (a single problem is set each day).

For today's puzzle at Kotobade Asobou 言葉で遊ぼう I got only the second kana and ultimately failed. I thought the "word" was a little unfair though.

Omg my english teacher always makes us take a wordle.... i didnt know it was available in another language.

I got today's on the 10th guess. I also got today's Wordle on the 2nd guess. First time I've got one in less than 3 guesses.
