I´m having a hard time finding the right particles for japanese verbs. Their´s no use in knowing that e.g. akirameru means "to give up" if i don´t know how to connect it to a noun, like "to give up on something". Would this be "nani wo akirameru"?

Does anyone know where i can find the correct particle for verbs? That would be awesome! There´s no sense in learning verbs if you can´t apply them! Thank you very much.

I recommend 三省堂 新明解国語辞典 第6版. This dictionary has plenty of basic structure examples for major verbs including suru-verbs and adjectives.
