Japanese time that doesn't appear in textbooks

Just remember that ぷん is just ふん but pronounced differently. It also helps to memorize them, and make sentences involving them, do flashcards, etc. Whatever helps you.

Flashcards, that's a good idea. Would you mind giving me some sentences to use them on, and how to use them? I've never used flashcards to study japanese before.

You don't really need sentences on flashcards, just put an amount of time, say "3 minutes" and try to remember how to say it. Don't just put the exceptions, either, because you'll find yourself cheating and knowing they're all pronounced differently.
