I just wanna know wich name you like in japanese, or wich name you really wanted to have instead the one you have now.

Male:

Hiroki,Jun, Shun, Tetsuya,Tatsuya,Shuya, Aoi, Daiki,Nobu, Nobutada, Morimoto,Akai,Ryu,Ryo...

Female:

Ai,Miki,Eri,Chiyo,Aya,Asuka,Hirono,Ami,Akemi,Airi,Akane,and a lots more

But i want also to know why you choose them because im very interested in your idea's

My name Shin means Really,true.
If they added +ju = Shinju = pearle.

I like Eriko, and Emiko....but I don't know too many names. Do you know of a place to look up Japanese names? I like the first name because it's a good friends name, and the second name was my husbands sister who died when she was 3 months old. If we are blessed with a daughter we have decided to name her Emiko. (sorry if spelling of the names is wrong!) I like your name...Shin....it sounds cool, plus it has a special meaning.

Thanks , there is one more name that i like- i was watching a really old japanese movie a long time ago, it was about some samurai living in the Edo period , one of the samurai was called "kanbei" (i think thats how its spelt), i asked a friend about the name since i liked the sound of it, although all he could say was that it sounded like a really old name and hadn't ever really heard it been used in the present time at all.
Do you know anything about the name Kanbei..?

Awesome thanks for looking that up for me, now i finally know what kanbei means/symbolises, it sounds like a good name to have (and makes sense now that the samurai in the movie was called Kanbei) .

Yup yup. And even when you get the kanji, you still have to find out what the intended meaning was, since characters like 幸, 貴, and 紀 have MANY meanings.

The character might not even have an intended meaning. You might have a girl named 紀子（のりこ） only because her great great uncle was named 紀夫（のりお） and they wanted to carry on the kanji...or maybe just the reading.

Nothing wrong with having fun, but you do need to be careful about what information you offer as "fact".
