Don't think that is possble now that "that" thread is locked, however the information contained within it could very well go for guys as well as girls.
Imo some people get too hung up on the "what" instead of the "who" when getting involved in a realtionship with someone from another country.

Very True, but i can kinda relate to her.
I had the same feeling before going to japan.
And after getting japanese girls (or in your case a guy) you just know that nationality doesn't really matter much.
I still prefer girls from over there, but I'm very happy with my GF here.
After all, its about the person, not nationality, or race, etc.
But that's one of the things you will find out after having had one.

This whole subject of interracial dating is interesting,personally I will only date a girl if shes Asian.Its not a hateful racist thing,its just a preference.Nobody says anything about Hugh Hefner only dating blondes,why? because hes dating his own race so people find that socially acceptable and 'normal',but if a white guy only wants to date Asians then suddenly its unheahlthy,race stalky and considered some wierd fetish,its a terrible double standard.

Its true,its only a "fetish" when it involves 2 different races dating.If a white guy only dates brunette white girls,its just a preference,no fetish there.Its a stupid double satandard that shows racism is still alive and well in America.

I don't think we ever made this into a weird racial fetish. I will admit I am more attracted towards Asian women than any other. But I have had some really amazing white girlfriends as well.
I think the real issue here is people trying to pigeon hole an entire race into a set of stereotypes. That we can all solve by writing a list of how to date them.

How is it "racism" for a white guy who prefers to date brunettes? I don't think that's what you meant.
I would consider it non-racist if one member of one race dates someone from another race. I know some white guys prefer black women. There's nothing wrong with that, just as long as the two are compatible.

Its not racist for a white guy to date brunette white girls,you missed my point.I think its racist for society to assume its just a "fetish" when 2 different races date,but its only considered (to society) to be a preference if a white guy dates only brunette white girls.To me,thats racist,why cant the white guy with the asian girl just be a prefrence? but its not,its largely seen as some wierd fetish.
Could you imagine if there was a celebrity figure similar to Hugh Hefner that had 3 Asian girlfriend as opposed to the 3 blond white girls Hefner has now.If a celebrity figure had 3 Asian girlfriends the media and society in general would say hes "sexualizing" Asian women,how its so wrong,its a kinky fetish blah blah blah...but its perfectly ok for Hefner to do the same thing with 3 blondes,why? because socity considers it safe and 'normal' because they are of the same race.I dont agree with this,but this is how society operates.Its sad.

Yes everyone is different and shouldnt be pigeon holed into one set of rules/stereotypes,I agree with that.But to assume differences in the races dont exsist,would be nieve.Culture does come into it,even if just a little bit.

Uhm you can't compare racial differences to hair color. If your going to make an analogy at least make a good one.

When people proudly proclaim they will date only a certain type of people that is ignorance. Which is totally different han saying I like Asian women (amongst other women). You come on here statinig "Oh yeah dog I only date asian women, hotness ftw kekeke" And expect us to just roll over and accept such ignorant comments. Don't make statements like that if you can't take what's going to be dished out. Maybe if you had kept the comments to yourself you wouldn't have been attacked?

Forgive me for being forward, but why not? What we tend to recognize socially as 'racial' distinction is just as superficial as hair color. Eye color, eye shape, skin tone... I think the comparison is okay.

And maybe if they met an American or French or Spanish girl who has these physical characteristics, they might find her attractive, too. A preference for, for instance, black skin, seems 'racial' but actually it's based on the attraction of a 'superficial' physical characteristic. I think having a certain type of women as a girlfriend is a status symbol to men not only you're gf beeing physically attractive but also her beeing part of a certain part of ethnicity can make out to other guys that you are the alpha male.
The best example for european standarts probably is having a C-D cup,blond.blue-eyed most other men are bound to give you looks that could kill.
