Japanese form of caviche?

Hey there.

Does anyone here know what the name of Japanese caviche is? I know that in Japanese food, there is some kind of cured fish dish that is very similar to caviche, but I can't remember what this is called.

Anyone have any idea?

Hmm. I wonder if that 'marinade' is one which has the lemon juice/vinegar which cures the fish?

Yup.

I have to imagine that there's a Japanese version, but I have never heard of it, nor can I find any mention of it online.

So, I was betting that someone here would know.
