Ebisu Black!

Better than Guiness!

Oh, and the version of Absinthe sold in Japan isn't the real stuff.

Hard to find real Absinthe. You can get it in Canada at select places. Absinthe was what cause Van Gigh to go crazy.

There's also a special method to drink it. It involves juice, sugar cube and a lighter.

I do like Sapporo, but I usually go for Asahi Super Dry. Maybe because I really like the can. I like how Japanese beer is so light. It's not like drinking a meal.

Oh let me tell you that I LOVE Asahi Super Dry!

I like to sit for a few hours and eat soft-shell crap and a-la-carte sushi, whilst drinking a lot of this fine beer.

I hope it's cold though!

My favourite is Kirin, but you never tasted the portuguese Super Bock Stout... 👍

swedish ranting XD, it doesn't have anything to do with the thread.. i just felt like putting it somewhere and i was just replying to this thread ^^

it's usually yelled at a football(soccer) game here from one half of the stadium to the other and translated means "the other side, are you ready?".. to which the other side has a reply i expect the next swede to read this to give me ^^

mac likes 'em big
mac likes 'em small
mac likes 'em all

I see... well, I can still make out "andere Seite" from "andra sidan", but not the rest.

Somehow, this sounds very, very gay 😌

To get this back on topic - how's the Swedish beer?

it was meant as a comment on *girls* -_-
but whatever rocks your boat, yaoi-lover ;)

swedish beer is avarage... there's one called Norrlands Guld which is pretty good...

but my favourite (of all the ones i've tried, pubbing in england included) is Carlsberg.. a Danish beer.. those danes sure know how to brew!

Yes, it's somewhat popular over here as well.
Well, you should also try some German beer! We have a special "Reinheitsgebot" (purity law) for beer. a good one to try would be e.g. DAB.
However, be sure to avoid Bavarian beer, because it tastes worse than piss!
Some time back, I tried "Hofbrテ、u", and it was so totally abominable... drinking right from the toilet would probably taste no worse 😌

My favorite is Kronenbourg. That and Kirin Ichiban are the only beers I will drink.

I think I drank 45% of Japan's stock of Asahi while I was down there. It is definately my favorite beer, as goes for Sapporo, and Kirin, If only I could find a place that stocked it here in Louisiana. :(

Jupiler,Sapporo...although I had Sapporo just once...Oishii !!! my fav's :-)

I suggest anyone in Japan to go to the Sapporo Beer Garden, and drink the freshest beer ever. :)

I would have to say Asahi Supa-Dry is the smoothest brew around. Kirin, Sapporo, and Ebisu are good, but just a tad more bitter than Asahi I think. If you like that darker beer, Asahi Kuro-Nama should do the trick....

My fave Japanese beer is KIRIN, and all-time favourite lager is Danish CARLSBERG. I also like CARLING and FOSTERS. CHEERS!

Now, I know why so many Swedes are taking a one-day trip to Denmark drinking beer and buying beer!! :-)

BTW: Have you tried another Danish beer called Tuborg?? [not known outside Danish borders] Great stuff among high-school students!! :D

My favorite beers:

1. Free
2. Complimentary
3. On the house
4. Someone else is buyin'

I live in skテ・ne, I've had my fair share of beer runs to denmark (heck I lived there for 7 years, but I moved back to Sweden when I was 11 ;) so to answer your question, yes, i've tried tuborg.. ^^ it's not bad, but it's not as good as carlsberg.

We've got this new Carlsberg bottle here now though.. 50cl and sold in swedish supermarkets (you might know they're not allowed to handle very strong beer in sweden, only the Systembolag is allowed to sell alcoholic beverages over 2.8%) and that new one literally smells like urinal cakes soaked in urine, and it doesnt taste much better.. horrid stuff.. they mustve pissed in the bottles and sent them to Sweden going "those stupid swedes will drink anything.. just watch this.."

Asahi Super Dry!!!!!!!!

I used to love All things Sapporo, but when I went to Japan and discovered the goodness that is Asahi, I became an addict!

Hahaha
