After our successful October club night, J-Pop Go returns with our first Christmas event!
Expect an evening of great J-Pop and J-Rock tunes as our DJ's will be playing tunes from a wide range of artists including Puffy, Brilliant Green, Tommy February, Polysics, Guitar Vader, Mika Bomb, Shonen Knife and much more.
The event will be taking place at our regular venue of Fluid in London - a popular Japanese-themed club that features reasonably priced drinks along with a range of tasty Japanese food cooked on the premises.
Wednesday 7th December. 7pm to midnight.

Plus: Issue 2 of the J-Pop Go magazine is also out and features interviews with DMBQ, Cornelius, Mika Bomb along with features on Utada Hikaru, the recent Japan Showcase gigs, a look at Anime vs J-Pop and all the usual news and reviews.

The next J-Pop Go event takes place on Saturday February 11th and will have something of a Valentine's Day feel to it... As ever, expect a night of great J-Pop/J-Rock tunes care of our resident DJ's at our new home of Cafe Manga on London's South Bank.
J-Pop Go is also being sponsored by both Ubisoft and ADV Films. The next event will serve as the UK launch party for two new Ubisoft RPG games: Drakengard 2 and Tales Of Eternia.
People attending J-Pop Go will get a chance to play some of these games at the venue itself - plus we'll be running competitions both on the night and also on the website (and in the forthcoming J-Pop Go magazine). You'll have an opportunity to win some great prizes from Ubisoft including a PSP, a PS2 and copies of both Tales of Eternia and Drakengard 2. Check the Competition page on the J-Pop Go website for details.
You'll also get a chance to view two new anime titles care of ADV: Elfen Lied is a gripping, bloody adventure with more limb-breaking, muscle-tearing, blood-spurting action than you can shake a stick at. Also available is the critically-acclaimed thriller Boogiepop Phantom. You'll also be able to win copies of those titles both at the event and via the website.
Meanwhile, the J-Pop Go website has a nice new Valentine's Day splash page and there's a few subtle changes here and there. There's a new downloadable Desktop and there's also a new Poll tackling the tricky subject of what you enjoy doing most at J-Pop Go. ^_^
