I'm going on vacation to londen. *Shop untill you drop *
And I was wondering if it is easy to buy there J-music.. The only way to get it in holland is trought the internet.. I hope you can get in in londen in music stores..
Does anyone know if it is possible ??
It is Incredibly hard to get j music in london believe me i look every time im there and never have any luck wat so ever but i did find a vidoll cd in harrods Lol allthough its a clothes shop
There is a place called The Japan Centre, on Piccadilly, but I don't think it has a great selection of j-music. I think the focus is more on anime and manga (although I have never been there myself). You might be able to get some of the most popular stuff there, though.
c.a.m.d.e.n. = goodness!! And resurrection records... which you have to find by goin through another shop... but they have J CD's and DVDs... if you happen to be there on the first Monday of the month then there is J-rock night at the Devonshire Arms.. Also Camden.
I was planning on camden.. For the clothing and all.
I have already orderd it but maybe am I able to find Gazette or miyavi. Knowing they are better known around europe
Awesome... I promise Camden will be worth it... the place is fantastic!
From mainstream shops... ie HMV at the moment I know you can buy Dir en grey, MUCC and Despairs Ray (basically the bands we've had touring here)
Heres Resurrection Records online catalogue (J-rock section) I don't think they will have all in the shop... and they might get things that aren't mentioned there... but it will give you a rough idea.
probalbably I'm going some were in august.. or in the end of July we're going dor 4 days. And spend them all in londen. probalby one day camden 1 day center shopping and one day random
Humm not that I know of. But I'm not a big fan of either genres so I guess I wouldn't really notice. Japan Centre might have some... but don't quote me on that.
yeah it is pretty expensive. I had to get my Japanese text book from there... and also bought SHOXX (I shouldnt have been sent to a site that sold SHOXX!)
To be honest most Jap stuff in this country is expensive because they have to import. I once asked a record shop owner if they did any Japanese stuff and he said they didnt because importing was too expensive but they would order specifics if I wanted.
I know Camden is hot. Cheers for that link CD, and I'll do whatever it takes to find it!
Japan Centre is ridiculously expensive, I kinda understand though.
Herbal Shin i would think so as it seems more popular than JRock.
Hehe... I love Camden... am considereing moving there at some point! May go on huge shopping spree there in October... when I see GAZETTE!!!! Any on else here goin to that gig?
People in Camden always try and make me buy lolita clothes and I'm not sure why... they don't do it to any of my friends... and I don't exactly dress lolita! Maybe one say I will give in to them and become lolita!!
uhu...I bought Area37C in the Japan Centre and it had 2 posters in it *yay* but yea..Japan Centre is expencive...I paid 32 pounds for 2 mags (arena and gothic&lolita bible)
And I also found Ressurection Records in Camden and I bought 2 CD (HYDE and Moi-Dix-Mois)
at SaiSai (also Camden) I bought Nil (they had like 5 CD total..I was lucky Nil was one of them)
And at the HMV on Oxfordstreet I bought the Nameless Liberty DVD
