Is there any music like...?(L'Arc-en-Ciel )

Alright. Some time ago I got basically sucked into Fullmetal Alchemist, and the main theme therein (Ready, Steady, Go!) SO I was wondering if this (band?) group has any music like it.
I ask instead of floundering though some of their other music which I may not like... Kinda like how I like "If Everyone Cared" and "Photograph" from Nickelback, but I don't like much of anything else from them...

Lol @ band?. Yes L'Arc~en~Ciel is a band.

It's kind of hard to know what you mean by "like ready steady go", yes they have some upbeat songs, but I'd hope they wouldn't make songs that sound exactly the same *cough* NICKELBACK *cough* .

I'm just messing with you. Most recently, I guess maybe you'd like NEW WORLD, lost heaven maybe Killing me and EXISTENCE (all of which are on their latest cd AWAKE). Oh, Stay Awake (off of REAL) is a popular one, too.

Laruku has a lot of really good songs, though, and a lot of cds, so if you just get some of their stuff, you're bound to like something, I'd think, since you like ready steady go.

I'm not sure if you're approaching this the right way though. I understand that you may like upbeat songs but if I just pick out the range of Ready Steady Go-ish songs for you, I hope you don't get the impression that this is L'Arc's typical style of music. Ready Steady Go, in my opinion, isn't L'Arc at their best at all...

"READY STEADY GO" is off L'Arc's SMILE album, which was released in '04.

If you like "READY STEADY GO", then you'll probably find the rest of the album to your taste. "Lover Boy" stands out in particular; very addictive.

However, as for the rest of the band's albums/songs, I can't say whether you would like them or not. SMILE was a large departure from the band's signature sound. In fact, it caused quite an uproar amongst long-time fans, myself included (ironically, it also attracted a whole legion of new fans). But it has grown on me since then. The guitar work, especially, is really phenomenal.

You might also be familiar with L'Arc's other works, like "Link" and "LOST HEAVEN"; they were used in the FMA movie.

^ yea i defintely didn't think ready steady go was L'arc's best lol... though i love FMA and that song is catchy..... i recommend....

@ mari This is why I asked, odds are that if I picked some random album from them I may not like it so I asked figuring I'd find somebody here that likes them. Not who could that be?
AND if you want to unload a couple of songs I'd be glad to hear them.

oops hhaaha those were the two that i heard.... i stopped listening to JRock and L'arc for some time so i didn't do much searching for songs
