Is Japan a crowded place?

Like is Tokyo really crowded and such? Can it get aggrivating at times because of all the people?

I have seen a few pictures that show tokyo to be pretty crowded but maybe thats in the business area of tokyo.

i would say tokyo is pretty crowded though cause i have seen a few programs showing where some ppl sleep and its pretty small, i forgot what they called the place. :?

I think that tokyo is very crowded. thousands of poeple go to tokyo so it must be crowded, especially since all of the big industries and cooperations are there . but their also might be some places in tokyo that are more "spacious" lol.

When your there it isnt too bad, after a few days you get used to it ! Hey thats what japan is all about, going on the trains into tokyo during rush hour is something you wouldnt forget !

Once when I took the subway to school it was so crowded I couldn't move my arms to scratch my nose =(

And throughout the entire trip I felt someone's buttcheeks pressed firmly against mine...it was uh interesting

Tokyo and other cities are crowded, but Japan as such isn't. The cities tend to be, but there are many parts of Japan that aren't that populated. Especially the mountain regions. This has to do with zoning laws in Japan

Your tottally right daniel, its like most capital cities in the whole world, they are some quiet places about. Wouldnt effect your experience over there.

shibuya is quite possably the most crowded place i have been to. Also shinjiku station is the most busy station in the world, it wouldnt be hard to get brused ribs there...

Yes thats why alot of j-girls get molested, my japanese friend told me about it once. However japan is not sue-ing culture(how the hell do you spell it !) unlike to other european countries and america, so not alot is odne about it.

Well I`m one to say that some japanese school girls are asking for it.

Example: I take the bus to get to school and every day this girl from my school puts on her socks while wearing my school`s mini skirt uniform, lifting up her legs exposing pink or sometimes black paradise. Now is this girl asking to be raped or she just likes to see the junior school boys having trouble walking to the bus exit?

Kyoto is crowed downtown, its hard to move especially near pachinko parlors.

Regarding Tokyo: Yes its very crowded and noisy. I usually get a headache when I go there. But nothing a few buffrins and a gatorade doesnt fix. ALWAYS carry a few bufferins with you.

Anyway I think the police should dress their strongest officers in woman clothes so when those fool perverts try it they end up in jail.

That's assuming that the rapists would want such a manly "woman." I guess they would have to be wearing long sleeves. This is, of course, assuming that a woman isn't among the strongest officers.

ok, I'm not saying that I condone rape at all...but I've seen the same thing..and it is not panties they are showing...It is definitely questionable behavior on the girls part, but it is just being a flirtatious, silly little teenager and no one should mis-interpret that as an invitation for anything else!
