Initial D Arcade Stage Ver. 3

i like my rx-7 spirit r fast and a lil good at drifting

Well The machine took my card the other day and the arcade tech are not sure where they put it. So i built a Type A and man I love it. I already broke through my 2:49 barrier with a 2:47

in version 3 whats really the best car.... rx-8 for subaru gcv8?

Hello all!

Well first off let me start by telling you my initial D history... I havent played either version 1 or version 2 but my friend got me recently into the anime as well as the IDv3 game. ive been playin it id say close to 5 months max now and i just wanted to see how long you guys have been playin and what times your getting about. First i started out with a Nissan ER34. I got around battle level 12 or 13 at most on that not sure been so long and i have over 1.3mill points on it. I beat the game once and about half way thru the second time. I did some time attacks on it as well as bunta challanges... I am on bunta level 15 on usui with that car but i quit it as i said... I went to the Ry car but stoped on tsu... and have not beat the game. I am currently usin a Rx-7 K.T.'s car. I have a 91.somethin win ration with about 60+ plus wins to 6 losses.. most of which i was blocked really bad then hittin a wall and loseing tremndous speed... (not sayin that i cant be beat but thats the problem im havin trouble finding challanges where i live)... but anyhow i started to time attack for that reason to see how well i fair vs others. i beat the game 5 times over with my rx-7 and that just got boring;Anyone kno how many times you can beat the game until the stop makin the difficultly harder, cause i would like to beat it till it stops if i could.. I aslo heard that after u beat it 3 times u get no more racer level stars... is that true? cause im lookin for stars and since i dont have many to race... hard to get battle level stars. Also it would be nice to kno how u obtain 30 stars i find it hard now that im at 14 stars to get anymore. I heard if u beat bunta on each track 5 times u get a star or somethin so im workin on that. Have him beat on half 5 times so far. Anyway before this gets any longer... Anyone got some good info on tracks how to max out the best time u can get or how to obtain stars whatever plz post cause i find myself currently ranked 100 or less on each track on the offical site and still improvin but lookin for advice to do things better hope to here somethin and here are some times i kno i got off hand...

rx-8 in v3 suks =/

now there's a noob's post if ever i read one!!! kid, you have no idea what you're talking about... with that post alone, you just broadcasted to the readers of this thread how bad you drive. the list that CerberaLM posted was taken from the initial-d forum so you could say that it's an official list. check the RX-8's position - it's #1 in dry conditions.

by the way, it's really irritating seeing posts one after the other by just one person so PLEASE give everybody a break and limit your questions and comments to one post.

@K.T.
1 star each for myogi, usui, akagi, akina, irohazaka, happogahara, shomaru, tsuchisaka = 1 racer level star

Hmmm skeptic_critic i guess ur write....i only used it like 2wice
i guess i have to experience with it a lil
im not used to driving with 6 gears

RX-8 is so cheap. It's like the Integra Type R in Ver. 2.

I myself am using an RX-7 Spirit R and Skyline GTR R34. Cornering on these cars work perfect for me, except I don't use the brake a lot.

Guyz. I need a help. Are the any links or websites posting information regarding Initial D car parts?? for example, " I am looking for the 'TRD rear spoiler's' pros and cons." I also need it's descriptions and side effects. I really need it badly. TNX ^__^

Kenshi when u drive u dont really need to brake dat much on turns, just release the gas pedal and shift down

Frou Wheeling and Im a New Poster...

Well... personally I like Using a Cappuccino for a Fun car since 4 Wheeling it down Akina under wet conditions is HELLUH fun !!! But yeah... I also use a Trueno B Option because My friend gave me his and he didn't want it so I took it and Im pretty good... On the Akina Downhill Under wet conditions, I can do it nicely cuZ of Four Wheel drifting will take up the Inside of the corners so people Can't get pass... But Other than That... Im not all that good... I can Barely 4 Wheel it on Dry but Im practicing!!! Any tips on Four Wheeling Under Dry Conditions?

Noodlez, I know but sometimes it requires it. But most of the time, these two cars can handle turns without brakes.

Cevil, search for "Initial D Version 3" on Google and go to the official game site. It'll tell you the parts, cars, colors, maps, secrets, etc. of the game.

Kenshi: Thanks for the information. hehe.. dat sure helps me out of my troubles on choosing car parts.

Noodlez: It is right. some cars requires to tap the brake to turn. Unlike 4wd, they do not need to use brakes that much.
for instance, the rear tires will loose traction on the ground while drifting and the front tires will pull the car ahead to the perfect direction.
Unlike FR's, the rear tires slides off the corners while it has no resistant to recover so that is why it requires to tap the brake. (I just hoped that I got it right. hehe)

actually it depends on a lot of factors: the turn, the car and the driver's skill.

hairpins usually require shifting down, and braking as well, especially if coming from high-speed going to technical (e.g. akagi and akina downhill, before the consecutive hairpins).

and, yes, some turns require tapping or in some instances, giving the brakes a kick to get the fastest line possible w/o hitting the walls.

some turns can be taken just by braking and not having to shift down.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I just can't figur eout how people can be so fast I try my hardest and still like 6 secs slower than the fastest times.

ive got a trueno in version three but recently went to adelaide (aus.) and my cousins girlfriend got me like twenty free games cause she works at Intencity. so now my version two game is better lol (ill have to transfer it soon)

hey evr1, just wanted to noe if any1 plays initiald d ver3 around hornsby or chatswood or macquaire or even the city, cause there are barely any skilled racers (not saying too much ), its just boring versing n00bs all the time.

There's this new game where I play. It's more expensive than IDv3. It's called Maximum Tune or something. People play that instead of Initial D sometimes.

Wangan Midnight - Maximum Tune or vice versa (whatever).

highway "street" racing. it's already been around for a year, if i'm not mistaken. it's also got a card system like IDAS - but what's printed on the card changes depending on your progress or settings in the game.

you'd love to hate the Supra, GTO and especially the R34 in this game...

@Damicci
well in my opinion... watching really good players help. just be a keen observer - watch their shift points or shifting, their speed, the line they're taking, their footwork (if you can) - basically how they tackle the course. i actually learned a lot just from watching

Yea ive played that game a bit, but i find it boring, u basically drive in a straight line. ive got a supra, dunno if thats any good in the game, but i prefer initial d 3

hey evr1, wots a good time for iro cause im gettin like 3:05 and cant seem to beat it. and what is with these smilies :sorry: ☝ .....hehehe looks weird

it's a mission for me to play initial d. there's a version 2 at the movie theater in the next city and there is one at the mall. i just came back from vegas and i played version 3. i like V2 alot better. i only played about 4 times so i still suck. my wallet was stolen and i had my version 2 86 trueno and my MR2 in there. so now i'm starting fresh with an AE86 Trueno gt-apex. i beat myogi with ease. the second area is pretty hard for me because i don't really like racing games. i don't know the techniques at all. i want to start getting into cars and all so i know what i'll be driving in the future. i was just wondering if anyone can enlighten me on how to drift and how to do steady turns. should i floor it? should i brake? please help me!
