Okay, I just really got confused. Are there two Japanese musical artists named Hyde/Hide? Because:
In Wikipedia, Hyde ('Hai-do', or in English as "Hide") is this guy:

Who is apparently alive and well.
But there's also a Hide who died in 1998:

....soooooo... can anyone help me figure this out? I'm not an avid fan, admittedly, but it's really got my curiousity.

Yes, they are two different guys, Hide died over 10 years ago (May 2nd 1998) and was a part of a band X-japan.


Hyde is still active as a member of L'Arc-en-Ciel and also a band called Vamp !

 
hey, since nobody seems to answer my question in my "HYDE" evergreen video thread i will ask here: could someone please tell me, where i can find the video version of evergreen. the version where he is dressed all in white and sits in a birdcage....
on which dvd can i find this video ? please, there are so many HYDE fans out there...i am sure someone can tell me ! thanks !

The reading of HYDE is as the English family name but HIDE is not in English... It is in Romaji.... so they don't have the same name....

the first japanese album I ever baught was his "666" .... I felt in Love with the cover

and today I still luv his music
