How to write "circumflex o"

Okay here it comes.
I am trying to learn japanese grammar on my own, and my problems appeared, when I needed to write; words with ô on the computer. I know it means a dobbelt o. But I have no idea how to type it. I have tried everything, but when I use the IM Japanese keyboard, with an updated Japanese language pack, I still get the wrong answer. It could be me, who cannot find the correct way to hit the keys, and in the right order.
I am using 3 different "keyboards" Danish/English, and Japanese. The Danish and English keyboards have the same way of making their markings; like ﾔ, but it is different i Japanese. How can I solve my problem?

By the way, ~ is a tilde, not a circumflex. A circumflex is like ^.

Yeah, the OP would accidentally type ^ with "shift" key.

That is true. How would you type it, on a Japanese keyboard?

Just type "~ ^ へ" key next to "= - ほ" key in 半角英数字 input mode. As for "circumflex + a i u e o", I use copy & paste from here.

So far I've been using google translate, and at other times, the dictionary can actually find the letters, and translate it correct.
But maybe some of my problems also comes from the books I am translating, since they are more then 20 years old. I do not know, if the Japanese writing system have changed a bit over the last 2 decades.

The sad part is, that there is almost no study courses in Denmark, about Japan, and the Japanese language.
