I'm 40, just beginning Japanese. Learning a language is a good way to keep your brain limber. I'm glad I learned my first other language when I was young, it makes it a lot easier to learn another one now.

Yeah, I figure I can start Japanese now and maybe be halfway fluent by the time I'm twenty. Along with possibly being fluent in Spanish, since my brain seems to adore words but not numbers.

Exactly, and that causes a problem for me with math. If math was just all words my grades would be perfect.
