How much Japanese music is on your MP3 player?

70% I have a separate playlist for Miyavi, D'espairsRay, and Gazette. I would do one for Diru but i'm too lazy to transfer songs from my CDs. I don't have much Diru downloaded but I do have their CDs!

I have, lets see maybe 80% Japanese, 10% Korean 2% French 8% English... and a lot more in my cd's, but thats what i have in my Mp3 player.

which means Im going to spent ages counting all my music and making a jrock playlist
but a hell of alot tbf
I still like my english and american bands thou
just jrock / jpop makes me happier lol! to me it feels more passionate!

Well.. I have like 3500 songs
and 18% are japanese with 47 different artists
Which shocked me!!
Because my top 30 listened to songs. About 22 of them are japanese lol!

Im always getting more new jrock, hardly any new english music thou
I need some band recommendations I reckon!!

Won't get into specifics. 95% of the songs on my iPod are Japanese and they are by a lot of various artist. I have about close to 600 songs on my iPod, I tell you...I am WASTING that 30 GB of space.

at the moment it's 50 % j-rock (mostly gazette, diru and alice nine) and 50 % english and also a few german music....but I'm putting up more and more j-rock and I don't really listen to the english and german songs...it's just in case that I get fed up of j-rock (what will probably never happen )

Wow...it has been a LONG time since I've been here. Anyone remember me? You know you do! Admit it!

Er...anyway....let's see. To be very honest, Only about 10% of my MP3s are j-music. Mostly Gackt, L'Arc, and Miyavi. But that's only because about 25% of my (gigantic) CD collection is made up of Diru, more L'Arc, and more Gackt. I don't really keep MP3s once I have a CD with the song on it...I'm weird like that. Ah well.

@Japanimaniac like to take my music with me everywhere so a lot of it finds it way on my mobile phone. There are a few bands i have standard on my phone: Thee michelle gun elephant, Rosso/the birthday, the organ.

Hmm, well I have about 265 songs on my Ipod. I guess that about 98% of the music on it is in Japanese, 1 song in chinese, 1 in German, and about 10 songs in English. That's about it.

Also Absynthia, If you're loking for a good rock/metal japanese band, i'd recommend Versailles. I'm just starting to get into them but they're pretty good.

Heh... I have only Japanese on my mp3 player. Of course, my music collection consists of MORE than just Japanese, but I leave everything else on disc or on my computer. In total, I listen to music in about 13 different languages.

Impressive.
I'd say a good 90% of my music is Asian. Or at least by Asian artists, mostly Japanese.
