I'm 17 and I've never had a b/f. I'm too busy with school. I ALMOST had one, but he ended up being a big...well....bum. I'm just going to wait it out and see what the sea of love brings me. It get frustrating sometimes though. I'm a big fan of hugging, so it's awkward to be hugging my guy friends all the time. +_________+

I was not really into this stuff until a I met a Spanish female friend who is a big fan of hugging, so I started doing some hugging, but I hug with girls only

The tides of love will indeed wash up something upon the shores of pashion. You must be patient. and dont shun the beached whales like me we tend to make exelent boy friends. At least thats what I have heard from every girl friend I have ever had.

As for me I have had too many girlfriends to mention so i will just say the ones i was truely in love with and that number is 2. My first serious girlfriend was when I was 14 or 15. But the first girlfriend i ever had was when i was 4 she wrote me a letter saying "I Love You." that was it and then i took it and wrote her back saying "I Love you too." (I had to ask the teacher how to spell "you" lol) Then i gave it to her at lunch time and I walked out on the playground and she came up and held my hand and she said "Does this mean you are my boyfriend?" i was like "Whats that?" then she explained it to me and i was like "Ok it sounds like fun!" Then she replied "So I'm your girlfriend now?" and i said "YUP WE ARE MARRIED!!!" then we were together for the longest time. To me it was like playing a game of house. lol

I have had 4 girlfriends. One of them constanly played mind games. One of them i didn't talk to much because they were the first person i dated so it was and i got dumped. the third one smoked pot and was mean to her friends, and made them turn against each other so i dumped her because of her morals. Although there was always my friend i wish i could have dated. She always was trying to kill herself and she cared a lot about me because i was always there for her through thick and thin. She is dating someone else though. I tell her i love her and yet i feel everything we had is just down the drain.. lifes a *****. but hey if you've had one girlfriend for a long period of time that's impressive. people who have had more than 6 relationships either

1. have flings.
2. are seriously choosey and pickey.
3. love someone else but can't date, so they date others.
4. are lying
5. get dumped a lot
6. Get hurt physically/mentally by the person they are dating.

i'm sure there are a lot more but if you don't have a girlfriend that's ok. if you don't have a boyfriend that's ok. Love makes you weak.

Love makes you weak? Maybe but I think you have to be very strong to love, I say that after what I've seen my mother go through. Love is probably one of the most painful experience but also the most rewarding, so I guess people who reject love are just afraid of being hurt, of not being good enough, or just being rejected... It's the easy way out, like suicide, as humans we have the priviledge to choose to quit or to face when confronted with ordeals. I'm on the side of the cowards since I decided to stay alone.
It surpised me to see so many young singles who seem not to care about g/f or b/f, reassure me, you have good friends, or maybe forums like that are enough to fill the gap. (this last part is supposed to be sarcastic and not serious)
Well to answer the question, if you haven't guessed I'm reaching my 21st year of celibacy, that way I keep the door of the monastery open

Let's see. My girlfriend history goes as follows.....
Girlfriend 1.0 - My first girlfriend whe I was 17. Lasted about 6 months
Girlfriend 1.5 - The same girl, we dated again about a year after we broke up. Lasted another 6 months about.
Girlfriend 2.0 - Met her when I was 19. Only lasted about 7 months.
Girlfriend 3.0 - Who I am with now. Met her when I was 23, and we are still together after 2 years.

There were the various small flings in between, but nothing serious. I am hoping version 3.0 will stick.

try not to be judgemental on my relationships...but this is when I did not have as much knowledge about relationships..it started when I was 13..
bf 1: lasted about 2 weeks...he didn't really care about me...
bf 2: lasted about 1 year...his family didn't like me and we didn't get to spend as much time together as we had in the past
bf 3: lasted 1 month... was long distance...I wanted to get back with bf 2
bf 4: same guy as bf 2...we broke up because of his family and he didn't seem to care about me as much
bf 5: lasted 1 week...I didn't think long distance would work for me...
bf 6: lasted 1 month...I realized I cared for bf 5...
bf 7: same guy as bf 5...lasted 3 months...he realized he didn't care about me as much as he thought he did and left me for someone else...I erally loved him...
I know I've made stupid decisions, but I wouldn't be who I am today if it weren't for them...but now I'm just lonely...

But your missing out on vital experiences like companionship sometimes but choosing not to be with someone which could lead to a lonely person in the end. Sometimes it better to try and fail, the to not try at all. Because sometimes of the success like 3.0 with cross plateform!
