Question How is Other/Another in Japanese？

It's a lot of common words but so far I couldn't find any clear answers, and I didn't find anything in the forum so far either

Like how could I just say/write "other things" as the title/label of something, like in coding or Excel/ Google Sheets, when something doesn't correspond to any of the others？

Also, how could I say Another, like 'another thing'

Just 他 also works well.

Also, for Another is there one of them that is used more often, like a more general way, or are they all about context？

(AAND last question for now, these are used before the word？Like 'other things' would be 他(の)もの (or another word that suits "thing" better, 事 maybe), or after)
