It's so cheap and informal (used with any verb, too, not only with する).

It's got to be the English talking, but if it were me reserving "on Mother's day" it may have been weirder. With 母の日には instead of 母の日に、as a light contrast to that particular day for an act which would normally come beforehand. That was all, the whole confusion.金曜日(に)レストランを予約してあげようと思います。
In this sentence, both "to reserve on Friday" and "to reserve for Friday" are possible. But, as for 母の日, a special day, the interpretation as "to reserve for Mother's day" would be more common.;-)
窶堙 is interpreted as the topic of the whole sentence, or the subject of the main clause. No, I mean 窶卍ゥツ寝窶天窶堋オ窶堋スナスナセ is correct. "To wake up late" is first, and then "to ride a taxi" happens.I realize my mistake now with 窶卍ゥツ寝窶天窶堋オ窶堋スナスナセ, but when I say it in my head it may make sense.
- When I wake up late, I ride a bus.
- When I woke up late, I rode a bus.
The example said take a bus, not took a bus, so therefore it must be the suru form.Is this correct?

These are the same; the description of "one-time event in the past."
Using たら is ambiguous around 'if' or 'when' the action happens. Obviously with exceptions, wiith 時, my feeling is usually more certain. That's the only difference in formation I can think of for this sentence. If I wake up late, I ride a bus (to work). Would this be an accurate translation?
そうですね。I'm having as usual a lot of problems with the listening comprehension so to that I go!
No, there's no difference also in the meaning. They are the quite same.I tried to translate:

Wmmm, both would show a past habit, but sound a bit awkward to me.How bout あげたもの as an ending ?

So that's my attempt at a crappy explanation. Unfortunately 窶堙≫?堙 is contracted from 窶堙?、窶堙??堋「窶堋、ツ、窶堙??堋「窶堋、窶堙娯?堙債、窶堙??堙債。ツ。ツ。and there is no good way to translate this usage directly into English.
