Hello, my gender is wrongly placed.

Hello,

You have written me down as a man, under my name. Talking about that blue sign. It should be pink. or am I wrong?

Check the "gender" drop-down menu under "edit profile" in your user settings ("My Settings" at the top left of the page, around the "welcome, N" section). If it says "female" there and it still shows you as male then that's a problem that I can't help you with, but my guess is that somehow it ended up selected as "male."

I changed it to female, but it would not take. GUess you have to go into "My Settings" and then to "Edit Profile". It's in the first block at the top, click on the arrow next to male to bring down the "female" and click on it, then hit "save" at the very bottom. Hope it works.

Hey Elizabeth,

it's simple! You can do it. Check out my screenshot and do it step-by-step.
Maximize it by clicking on the yellow bar on the top of my image in order to see it better.



1) Click on "My Settings", it's located pretty much atop of the page within the grey bar.

2) Click on 'Edit Profile' from the purple menu on the left.

3) Where it says 'Select Your gender' click on the little arrow next to 'Male'. A list of options appears - well, there aren't many other options, select 'Female'.

4) Scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are 2 buttons, press the left one - 'Save Changes' and - You're done!
