Greetings from the tiny island of Singapore!
Just a bit about myself, I'm a Chinese Singaporean who's really interested and intrigued by Japan and its culture. My first trip to Japan (Tokyo) was in 1995 when I was only 11 and my next trip there was in 2001. What basically kicked off my fascination with Japan was anime but I have since read deeper into Japanese culture and would like to experience it for myself whether for better or for worse. Hopefully I'd be able to sometime in the near future. My dream would be to study Japanese in Japan for a year or, if luck has it, work there for a few years (not as an English teacher though).
Well, any Singaporeans who are studying/working in Japan please do drop me a private message. Would really like to hear how life is like for other fellow Singaporeans over there.
