Haha I just typed a very swift welcome because I thought the other members will join in pretty fast. I guess they'll come in to say their greetings later 
Maybe show us some of the Youtube videos you've been watching? I personally never watched any Youtube videos while learning, so perhaps you can show me a channel that I can take a peek at. Do you watch anime or read manga?

I watch YouTube videos only to familiarize myself with the basics (how to introduce yourself for instance). I don't really know much, which is why I am very keen on enrolling in the language course.
I don't and can't read manga. But I do watch or at least I used to watch anime (with English subs). My favorites would be Ranma 1/2 and YuYu Hakusho.
