Hi Everyone,

I just joined the forum so I will introduce myself.

I am from the US and I have been in Japan for nearly 7 years. I have a pretty decent career going as an engineer here and I am looking to share experiences with other people working outside of the English teaching world (as it seems we are rare) and to try and help other people looking for an alternative path to living in Japan.

Welcome! We're always looking to have more long-termers on board, especially those with a positive point of view! Unfortunately, you'll find some English teachers here though. Don't be too disappointed!

Im looking forward to have friend overseas. I had friend who also coleagous from england, and he is now worked on china. I think westerners are all adventurer, I hope I can go arround the globe to. I was dreamed of it. It looks cool.
