rose_of_eternity said:I'm glad people are liking this "new" (?) Gackt! -pokes Kinsao- whats this "shimmer" you're talking about??? Is it how Gackt's voice vibrates when he sings or something else???What can possibly be wrong with his lovely voice? :?
Storm is definately the pop-iest song... but good none the less, hes experimenting, and its all guud![]()

It's definately distinct in being a tad deep and slightly husky (probably not the right word) in tone, but that's not a bad thing.
I've been a bit curious about how you and Kinsao have used pop. I have nothing against it exactly, but I was just wondering in what way are some of the songs you described pop? I ask only because I recall him saying he wanted this album to be more on the rock side. I know his albums always have a variety of songs, but these descriptions just stood out in particular.
Kinsao said:It's not something I'd ever heard for myself. Just something I'd heard other people comment on. Some people said that they thought Gackt's voice had a tendency to waver a bit. Hmmm - I can hear it a bit on Vanilla (which doesn't matter because it goes with the song), but I've never heard it on any of his other songs that I had. And I certainly can't hear it on this album - his voice is as smooth as a latte frappe. And I like it v. much.![]()
