I think that's a good move, and I think you SHOULD give her flowers, HOWEVER, it's always better to get the girl's # rather than giving her your # and hoping she'll call. Girls like to be pursued and it makes them feel desperate and undignified to have to call the guy.

*A rule I make for myself* Unless it's unavoidable, I never put a girl in a position where she has to call me. Even a girl who likes you sometimes won't be able to bring herself to do it. If I get her machine, I leave a message that I called and tell her I'll try her again sometime soon. If I get her machine a second time, no message.

After giving her the flowers, and making your excellent impression, maybe you could try to get her # through your friend who works at the market.

Well I went to the store today and I got my groceries and then i went down through the flower isle and I realized they didnt have any single flowers other than red roses and i was told by a very reputible jref woman not to get her roses (thanks kirei) so i was starting to panick a bit i went a little further down the isle and i found something that really caught my eye. They were called Oriental Sorbonne Lillies they were gourgeous they fit her perfectly when i walked up to her isle she immediatle noticed the flowers and she said "Aww those are beautiful...who are they for?" and I just replied "Someone special." and she said "Oh." so then when I got all of my stuff paid for i picked up the bags and left the flowers there and began to walk out and she said "Excuse me sir you forgot your flowers!" and I turned around with a smile and i said "You keep them." then i began to walk out slowly and then i think she realized she was that "special someone" and she said "Wait!" she ran up to me and said "Thank you so much for the flowers, why dont you call me sometime?" and i said "I got a pen in the car if you want to come out with me." she said "Ok, just give me some of you bags so it looks like I am doing something." we went out i got her number and she told me to call her at 5:00 tonight.

So I would like to take this time to thank everyone that helped me accomplish this tremendous feat! Thanks alot everyone!

The best part was the slick way you implemented my advice regarding girls not really caring what flower she gets, so long as they didn't obviously come off a grave. By purchasing them right there in the store, she knew for sure you didn't do that.

Very good thank you for asking.

When i called she just talked about how sweet i was and how she couldnt wait to see me again (later that day we had lunch together at subway by complete accident) and then when i told her how nervous i was she kept giggling and saying how cute it was and how sweet i was. Then she asked "Did you keep comming back to buy stuff just so you could see me." an i replied "yea" and that like pushed my cuteness level throught the roof for her lol. then she said "Why didnt you just ask for my number the first time? I would have given it to you." And i said "I was to shy." Then that just made her like me more. And throught the conversation she kept thanking me for the flowers she said roses are to bland and everyone gets them so she was glad she got what she did. My dad is annoying the crap out of me so i will post the rest later.

Ok im back my dad and mom wanted on the computer so they could do a whole lot of nothing. But while they were on she called at first i had no idea who it was all i know is i picked up the phone and there was a really hot sounding voice asking for Tim and i was like "Uuuhhh this is Tim" and she is like "Hi how are you doing?" i was like "Uuuhhhh i guess i am good?" she is like "Do you know who this is?" i am like "I have no clue." and she is like "It is me Chrystal the girl from the store." Then it clicked i was like "Oh O.K. Hi how are you!" Then she said with a giggle "I am good." Then she said "I got your number off of Chris." (Chris is my friend that works at the store.) and i was like "oh ok." then we talked and she gave me her AIM screen name and we made plans to go to a movie. Then she said she had to go and so did i cause my parents then wanted to use the phone :banghead: . She said she will call back if she gets a chance if not i got to call her tomorrow.
