Fukushima government opposes manga talking about Fukushima

The comic has characters based on real life academics stating ﾂ"You simply can't decontaminate a wide area in Fukushima and make it a place where people can live againﾂ" and claiming that hundreds of people in the town of Osaka had been affected by an incinerator burning tsusami debris that was radioactive.

Earlier in the week, the Fukushima council posted that the ﾂ"feelings of the Fukushima people were totally ignored and deeply hurtﾂ" and that ﾂ"the depiction could severely damage the agriculture, forestry, fisheries and tourism industriesﾂ" before issuing a formal protest against the publisher over the nosebleed scene.

I really don't trust the government of Fukushima, which has consistently proclaimed it's safe, when it's almost inconceivable that it would be. Time and again, when there is a scandal, the government (of most countries in the world, not just Japan) try to stamp out dissenting opinion. In this case, the publisher has buckled and is not printing the book for the time being. I hope the Fukushima and Osaka governments believe what they're saying 100%; if not, that's harikiri-quality shameful lying.
