Free Japanese-English news online

Hi all!

I have been searching for a website, preferably an online news site, that gives me the news in Japanese along with an English translation (or vice versa). So far, I've found "astand" which is Asahi Shimbun's English-Japanese editorials, but that's not free...

I have been using http://iservice.libertytimes.com.tw/Service/english/index.php?page=1 to study Chinese daily and it has been helping A LOT. Plus, it is an engaging way to learn. and it is FREE.

If you know any FREE Japanese-English news sites, please let me know!

I'll second Japantimes. A lot of sites are news agrigator (sp?) and not actual news sources. Japantimes has reporters and covers serious topics, not just anime stuff which is why I like it.
