Dir en grey

I hope it is like Withering to Death! I think that is my most favorite album of all. I'm listening to it now! 🕺 I was also thinking it would sound like that. I just have this strong feeling that it will be like WtD. idk. Maybe I'm wrong.
 
oooh I'm starting to be impatient as you talk about 'Undecided' having a WtD sound...😆...if it is so then it's going to be simply great!!!😍
 
"Road Runner Records is putting out the first edition of a special collection on September 10th called ﾂ"The Road Killers ﾂ〜 Dir en grey Selectionﾂ". There's no tracklist yet, but it will cost 2500 yen and the CD contains a compilation of songs from various rock bands all selected by the members of Dir en grey. Note that this is NOT a collection of their own songs, but songs they like by other artists.

The CD also contains notes about the songs from both Dir en grey and artist Masuda Yuuichi, who is a writer that covers various types of music, including western music and has been the editor in chief for both BURN and MUSIC LIFE.

Oh how cool! I wonder what artists will be on it? I think they should put at least one Diru song on it. Like a new one. You know, just to show who put it together. But I might just be saying that because I want new music from them. :p

I really don't know what to expect from glass skin, they've said that the new album will be crazy and different, and dozing green was different enough from what they've done recently, so who knows what they'll be doing next. Plus have you all seen the cover art on the ohp? It's... interesting.. to say the least... Its definitely different to what I've come to know as Dir en grey anyway. I'm not sure I like the exact image they've chosen, its not great as art in that style goes, but I like the idea of it..
Also, agitated screams of maggots unplugged? How will that even work?? I can't wait to hear it and find out anyway!

That road killers thing I'm less convinced about... I mean, presumably they'll have to choose from bands which are signed to Road Runner records? And I doubt it will be bands they actually like, more ones that they think we would expect them to like, or it'd be filled with some really random stuff I'm sure. Still, could be fun to see what does end up on it, and easy money for Diru is easy money for Diru so I won't complain =)
 
Oh is it only from Road Runner? I guess that's why it's called that. That sucks. I thought it was going to be a cd of their favorite artist. It would have been a really random cd. Now I'm not excited anymore. That idea sucks. Who came up with that?

hmmm I knew it's gonna be only from Road Runner...it would be incomprehensible to make a compilation of bands from other record labels...now I think this is just business...RR will get money,maybe Diru will get some money but that's all...it's just about the money...but anyway I wonder what that tracklist will look like...RR has some good bands but .... but I'd rather see a CD with Diru's favourite artists too...that would be way more interesting!

hmmm and you're right!the new cover is really ...ummm...different...it reminds me a bit of the Clever Sleazoid cover and those Decade things...nevermind...I can't wait to hear it anyway:-)
 
I don't know. I like the new album art a whole lot. If it is expressing the new music inside what do you think it will sound like? Crazy and weird? Yay! Chaotic-ness! Wee!! I'm excited again! *is easily amused*

I really like it though, makes me even more curious about the music.

God, this makes me sound stupid, but everytime I think about Dir coming back to play here I get so excited I feel dizzy :p

Hmm, which Diru song would I want to hear live above all the others.....idk..damn I don't know! I have to come back to you on that one. Are you talking about new songs or old songs? And do you mean if we were at a concert or just to hear it live? lol! I'm complicated I know. Sorry, I get easily confused. :sorry:

That clip was from the Macabre dvd. I own that and they have it subbed in English on youtube. You should check it out. 👍 It's good on it's own and even better when you know what they are saying!
 
I should go and check it I started to like such things I know twisted ha :p I have to get used of such things coz I'm gonna do a surgery on my neck to remove a tumer :( lucky me ha :(
