Dir en grey

I'm not sure how much of the booking was Diru's people. I'm thinking it was more Warcon's advice/doing.

I just hope they have a good tour here, and they can expand their fan base stateside.
Also, aren't they doing a tour in Japan now?

Hello !!!

I'm a newbie and I'm just wondering if there are any pages specifically on Die from diru. Sorry if there already is, there are so many pages that it is taking me forever to read them.hahaha

Thanks,
Have a great day guys!!!!

Actually Warcon didn't do any of the booking it's FWA who does the booking for Diru, because Warcon is just their American record label and FWA is their American management ^^ I hope that makes sense.

I think they'll have a good tour, but they might get a bit worn out during the tour because of all the traveling they'll be doing.

I believe they might be done with their Japanese tour now, but they still could have 1 more show left.

Hello whosthere and welcome to the thread ^^ i'm not quite sure if there are any specific page about Die, but if you want to know anything about Die you can just ask and someone will answer it ^^

Hey, Thanks for the welcome. I've just been reading through some pages. It's a good thread (^_^)

I was after any interviews with Die or any information on him really. He is a brilliant guitarist.

Any information is welcome.

Thanks heaps

Hey whosthere! Welcome to the diru forum! 🙂 Hrm, well I'm not sure if there are any interviews with JUST Die (since they're a group :P) but I'd check out regular diru fan sites first and then scour through their interview sections to see what die has to say.

Does Kurai do diru translations? :? of only MM? Could've sworn she did them too, if so I'd check with her.

Ok, thanks :-) I have checked some of the sites and have only managed to find 2 interviews that were translated to english :( Do you have any favourite sites that I can check out. Thanks for your help, much appreciated🕺

Also I didn't post it in the blog. But since you are talking about it... the Zepp Fukuoka holds 1500 and was not sold out at all. The whole second row balconey which is seated was empty, and the floor wasn't even that full. So I doubt they are going to cry over not selling out in the U.S especially since they aren't really selling out in their home country. Although the 2 lives added to the tour...they sold out already and they have only been announced like 2days ago. But thats because one of them is a Countdown live. Which is a new years live. And you countdown the New Year with the band.

hi ppl,

where can i get a bigger version of this picture of kaoru and die?

thanks!

Wow they didn't even sell out the Zepp? 😲 Things are . . . not as well as I imagined them then. Thats just - er, well . . . >.>

The show sounded AMAZING Nana. lol What a lucky girl you are to have Kyos water bottle! *holds up Kao pic woo yeah XD* Being gaijin in a show can have some serious ups yes? Especially if you're that close to the stage. But its a little strange they didn't play any of their new stuff? What the --? That's kind of a recycled concert since its mostly old things!

They played 3 new songs. One of which was the Fatal Believer, and one song I don't know the title, but it was on the Budoukan rip.

I imagine they didn't play a lot of new stuff because Marrow of a Bone isn't out for another month and a half. One of the main focuses of the tour in February is to promote the new album.

And I guess Gazette is the hot band of the moment in Japan right now. Just look on this forum; the Gazette thread has more posts in it than this one.

Yeah but most of the time when a band tours before a new album its customary to play the new stuff or stuff from the last album released. This just seems desperate. Boo hoo hoo. Diru's finally on its way out. ; ~ ;

And yeah of course Gazette is hot. They're younger, got great songs, a lot of energy and most importantly are fresh compared to a bunch of other bands who have been around forever. (kai <3)

Well its too soon to start promoting the new CD in lives. And as far as old songs. Yes they did play alot of WTD songs, but they changed it up ALOT. Kyo changed the lyrics to at LEAST 3 songs. Even the music was changed a bit, with the guitars and bass being slightly different. I definately did not feel like it was the Same Old thing. Not at all.

Also Kyo doesn't scratch or fishhook anymore, he has this new thing which is just...OMG so intense. Like really.

Nana007: no scratching or fishhooking!? plase tell us what it is!? ONEGAI?

maybe Diru is on a rocky terrain every band has its problems...they lose their touch then eventuallly gets back up....

Nana: now you're making me curious lol. As if Diru wasn't intense enough...now its even more intense? Can't wait til feb!!

good to hear they change the arrangement to their songs at lives. afterall it's been awihle since they play the WTD/vulgar setlist, always nice to add some new spark. gets me hype up for the toronto show.

Nana's incited something dangerous! lol Ah, if I were her now that I've looked back on it I wouldn't tell us either since Diru asks its fans not to tell others what goes on at their lives. * - * Being a respectful fan is so hard some times (I still wanna know too). In fact I suppose respecting a band is one of the hardest things a fan can really do. Not when it comes to respecting them as musicians but concerning what they ask of their fans and their private life. *sigh* I still can't count how much diru yaoi is flowing around the internet *shakes head*. Normally I wouldn't care too much about what smut people write but since diru has specifically stated they don't like is doing it it makes me a bit upset when I still see the teeny bopers doing things like that. I dunno, what do you guys think?

Its really hard to explain. Thats why I don't. Its vocal, some noises he makes. But it is like OMG intense, and in one song he started crying. Not the sobbing of Mushi and Zakuro but this weird really angsty crying. Its hard to explain.

hey!!! Isn't it Die's Birthday?!?!!!
whooo! Happy Birthday to Die!!! 🎊
Im gonna have a drink to celebrate!
:gulp:

for those who're going to the toronto show, i received my tickets today. if u haven't it is on the way!

Got to makes the monies! $$$$ *rubs fingers*

Personally I'd like to see them take a break from doin SO many tours and just turn inward and focus on doing their creative stuff. Maybe get their center back.
