Dir en grey

sorry, i've been neglecting.
TODAY I SEE DIR EN GREY ^^;;;
I wrote Kaoru a page-long letter, and i am giving Die this tin that looks like an old-school nintendo game controller, and inside i drew a little cartoon of him in permanent marker XD
oh, and i am giving kaoru this bracelet with beads shaped like skull heads, they're carved from nice stone and stuff :D <3 haha
ohgod, i've been up since 3pm yesterday and im going to die once this is all over.. D;

for some reason when i think of something for deg to make fun of kaoru...i think of that video thats called like "kaorus a dork" or something where hes like stabing shinya or whoever in the back with his hands -_-

Dude! I want that friggin' cd! I would die of laughter everyday if I had that.
<------- Look at my title!!! Haha

There's a rumor going around that DeG is planning on doing another tour in early 2007. It'll most likely be a quick one.

I wonder how many gifts they guys have gotten. Someone should give them like.. fruitcake. It's tradition. *nod*

Another tour where?!? HERE!??! Maybe I can go to that one if they do. And hopefully they'll be the headliner.

^ Yeah, I heard it'll only be DeG touring here in the states. I heard it'll be a quick tour at intimate venues. Don't get to excited, this is just a rumor. It may not be true.

For those who are talking about a possible Diru tour next year, here's what I heard about it.

It'd be in feburary and they'd be touring the US and Canada, They'll be headlining it, but their might be some other jrock bands touring with them. Warcon is making their own jrock label in December and are going to sign some bands and hopefully will get them to tour it.

FOR REAL?!? Wow. Just wow. So.. headlining Dir en Grey with MORE jrock bands with them. That would be perfection.
Where did you hear this by the way?

About the tour, I have friends who went to the Toronto FVT show and they met the band by a fence where the buses we're parked. One of their roadies we're telling the Diru fans that they we're thinking or planning a tour for the U.S and Canada in Feburary of next year. I heard this from everyone who met Diru by the fence at the Toronto show it's not just one or two people.

With the signing of other jrock bands by warcon was posted in a japan times article that was posted on here a while back, you can't view it now unless your a member at japan times online, but here's what the article says:

JapanTimesOnline said:
But there are those who believe J-rock is more than a passing fad in North America. Bob Chiappardi, co-president of Warcon Enterprises, Dir en grey's U.S. label, is one. New York-based Warcon, home to such metal and punk acts as Helmet and Bleed the Dream, released the band's "Withering to Death" album with a bonus DVD on May 16. That disc was released here in March 2005 by Free-Will Japan, an indie outfit with distribution through Sony.

"Prospects are good," Chiappardi said by e-mail. "We are actively signing J-rock bands from Free-Will and other sources if it makes sense. We have been approached by a couple of Japanese labels that are impressed with what is going on in the U.S. with Dir en grey."

Chiappardi, whose company plans to launch an entire division devoted to J-rock this winter, says U.S. music fans are increasingly willing to listen to artists who sing in languages other than English.

I didn't see any gifts in front of or around them...and I was near the back of the middle section of the line. Die looked so happy when I gave him his gift...I think he recognized me because I was right in front of him during the show. He kept watching me, I noticed...because no one was standing around me except for two girls to the left of me who were there for Diru too, but they weren't singing. I, of course, was singing my heart out, arms outstretched and all. ^^;;; When I handed him the gift, he read the envelope it was in, then looked up at me with that mega-watt grin on his face, shook my hand and said: "Amanda-chan!" O___O He lept saying my name over and over, even as I went down the line. The whole band was there at the greet ^^;;; it was so amazing. I shook hands with God. Five of them. :] Oh god, the fangirls around me in the line were so annoying. I wanted to slap all of them for being so disrespectful.

^ DUDE you got all five? You are so lucky. And Die even said your name. That's pretty cool. I'm so jealous now. Which venue did you go to?

Sound Advice Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL.
LOL, i should just post my report in here but i dont really feel like it, hah.. *puts it in livejournal* i'll give you the link soon :] rofl. but oh god, that really got me.

^I heard they canceled the Virginia Beach show so that means your venue was their last show? Maybe that's why they all came out for the meet and greet. LUCKY!! Everytime I read reviews it makes me happy and sad at the same time. Happy because I went too but sad because it's over lol.

[dead]

you...you..diru...met. [dead]
no, i can not form sentances when talking about them.

and if they come here i will give my limbs to see it, espi because i missed the family values tour, but thats ok, i'd much rather see them headlinging
...and with other jrockings loves....dare i say that would be the most amazing thing...ever...the venues will explode with awesome. [nods] it will happen

i know what you mean by fangirls. i mean..we are fangirls..but soem people are just so disrespectful when they meet celebs. they forget that these people are human too. it drives me up a wall.

gah. LOVE and more dying, because its just that awesome.

oh, and about the guy in that article. AMEN BROTHA MAN! jrock in america is here to stay baby! and i have to agree, most people i know listen to atleast one band from a non-english-speaking country.
then there are people like me, who, though having a very extensive american/english music collection, listen to stuff from japan, iceland, and some other place i cant rmeeber at the moment...all the time. tehehe

ok, im done.

he lept and said your name and stared at you and you met them all? Okay. Wow. I'm really jealous. lmao five gods. And the mega-watt grin. damn. I might have to kill you *shrug*

It was on already? Oh well, I really hope Diru comes to the U.S. again. Sea Monster Pit, you're sooooo lucky!!

I hope other bands tour with them to, jrock needs more fans around the world. DAMMIT, it needs to make people stop being dumb-butts and open up their minds to new things!! Diru is the perfect band to do that, at least I think so^^

do you mean to say that they'll make a big announcement during their interview?

anyhoo, sea monster spit, you got to meet all of them??!!!
soo lucky!!!!

i'm gonna go eat chocolate now....

I'm not complaining an Interview is good and they will probally announce the "Big News" during the interview, BUT saying we have BIG NEWS on tonights show and the BIG NEWS is that we are doing an interview next week were Dir will announce some BIG NEWS is kind of ehhh.

I'm happy that their playing an interview with Die and Toshiya next week, but what was stupid about it is they said we have an earth shattering announcement about Diru, just to say that next week their having an interview with Die and Toshiya. I know some people who we're really worried about what the announcement was and just to hear that is annoying.

You can bet all the questions in the upcoming interview on Tainted Reality are going to be the same stupid ones that we've heard answered a gazillion times already. Example: "Are you Visual Kei?" "What is your message?" "Do you like Marilyn Manson?" :cautious:

And yeah, hi. I'm back. Been awhile, hasn't it?

*lol'ing*
Kaoru<3
I just realised that the bracelet in the envelope that I gave him probably felt like a bag of cashews. LOLOL. I HOPE HE DIDNT THINK I GAVE HIM CASHEWS O___O

I think the interview will be fine. I mean its on a radio show that is soley for japanese rock/pop. Everybody listening knows who diru is. And if they dont then I doubt that they would even be listening. But *shrug* ya never know.

^ at the end of the day it's just all about getting people's attention and making them interested enough to watch/listen. And it works everytime lol. (well I didn't listen. I didn't really care hehe. If it's so big people will just post it on the forums:p )

On another note, FVT is over. Good job Diru!
And i'm so confused about the whole interview thing. Are Die and Toshiya going to be at that station to interview? When are they going back to Japan?

It's a pre recorded interview taken during FVT and I believe if their not back in japan by now then they'll be back to japan in 2-3 days it depends on how tired they are or if they still want a small vacation.

If it was me i'd be like i'm way too homesick and want to go home *gets on the next flight and goes home* They we're away from home for almost 2 months.

they are back in japan and i think they have a show like..next week or something.
i just remember reading it somewhere and i cant for the life of me remeber where

FUNNY NOTE:
im getting my friend on jrock. and she had a bad night, so i said it was time to whip out the diru. one live cleaver sleazoid later and she was headbanging like there was no tommrow
[hugs diru] thanks guys. 😄
