Their attitude seems pretty balanced. ^^ (Diru's, I mean.) The article makes a good point about not playing to cons. I guess they're playing to audiences who are at least more likely to be converted... And the article gives a good view on their 'Japaneseness', i.e., not making them out to be a novelty, which is more than you can say for some reviews (sometimes, even when a review is good the reporter doesn't seem to be able to get much beyond the fact that 'hey! they sing in Japanese!', which is always annoying. -_-).

I like Toshiya's attitude that it's better to try and fail than not try at all.

Kinsao: i agree, it is very good for Toshiya, and the rest of the band, to have that outlook on this. and, i'm glad to see that i'm not the only one who hates those reports that are highly biased, opinionated, or 'their Japanese'-tastik. they have a real tendency to get on my nerves really quick.

I read the article a couple of times, not all the way through because something else has caught my attention. I read through it, it's cool that warcon is signing more jrock bands, I just hope the jrock band if they tour the US won't forget their roots over in Japan and tour little or stop touring over there completely T_T.

It does suck, but it's faster now because the weather is alot better for now ^^. I have satellite internet so the weather affects it alot.

Warcon and Free Will America we're talking about a Jrock Winter Tour with Diru headlining and they'd have some other jrock bands opening so that's probably why warcon is signing other jrock bands.

^I really hope they will put a JRock tour together. That thought makes me happy. But Diru is doing so much touring here and back in Japan, it must be tough on them to keep touring.

Diru is really doing alot, but if they enjoy touring then they won't want to take a break. They get a break from the day after the last FVT date until October 9th, then they'll get another break from October 11-November 12. Then they'll get from December 20th - sometime in Feburary off (that's if they do the tour up in canada in feburary, if they don't then they'll have until who knows when off)
