I'm so behind in news. But I really do hope they play here and Canada, it'll be good for them.

o.o;;; um... they only got banned from The Joint, one of the venues in Vegas, not Vegas in it's entirety. Hard Rock Cafe isn't as 'hard rock' as the title suggests, and couldn't handle a little blood on the stage... the big bunch of pansies.

you guys, i just read on batsu that all members of diru did the meet & greet in saratoga, and it was filmed. also, it's the only time that they will do it together.

^ Dudeeee that would make me sooo sad. I just found out that my friend's friend went to the Saratoga show while I was stuck at school. She skipped classes to go. I was sooo jealous. My friend was so mean she said "oh yea you know how you wanted to go to FVT, my friend went!" I was like *Heartbroken* I actually staggered a little while I was walking. And worst yet, she said her friend told her a weird Japanese band played. I was like noooo she doesn't appreciate Diru!

pixy_false: O.O i don't know if it is or not, but if so, then everyone who went to that were very, VERY, VERY lucky! and, i envy them if it is true. and if it was filmed, then it should be on the next live DVD that they put out... at least part of it anyway........ right? <.<..... >.> ......<.<;;; or, am i the only who thinks that? i mean, the next DVD release, for Live footage, should be the rest of W&W, ShowCase, and FV... right? because, they've been taping the FV shows, and they also recorded the ShowCase Tour back in March. i'd imagine it would only make sense for them to put it in the next DVD(set). does that make sense to anyone? sorry if it didn't, it barely made sense to me... ☝

sorry my post wasn't clear, I tend to do that at times. I kept hearing "they got banned in a vegas show" and how it sucked (cuz it did), but does anyone know what place banned them? But anyways, as long as they're rumors it shouldn't matter right? I wish I could have seen them play at FVT, I want to see Kyo's crazy antics on stage!! And his facial pubes, hehehe.....

alright, well. it's only a week and a half until i go to FVT and I haven't bought a camera yet. like, a small one to bring in, all i have are professional ones. :[

now that i think about it, it's actually pretty stupid how they got banned from a place in Vegas, seeing as there are like 3978493874 clubs there where ugly self-degrading women strip down to nothing but a thong or even less than that; where you can waste away your life and your money on a slot machine rather than care for your family, but dir en grey gets banned for incorporating blood into their shows.

and the place that banned them was called The Joint. it's owned by Hard Rock Cafe, which is one reason why their banning makes no sense whatsoever.

sea monster spit: point well taken. if they are still going to allow women to lower themselves to the level of trash, then they should have no problems with someone shedding a little blood when it still brings in the money, and you know that's what they'll say is the reasoning for letting strip joints, casinos, and bars stay open.

and.... Dai doesn't look 'old', so... i mean, i know what you mean, but i honestly can't say that i notice a difference in his apparent age from this pic and the more recent ones.... i don't notice the difference in any of their apparent ages... well, Kaoru is starting to show the signs of too much stress, but other than that, they all look the same... the only thing that changed was their styles and hair..... <.<; sorry, i know how stupid that seems, but... *sighs*... nevermind, i'll just end this now... before i get into something i can't get out of.....

^ well their live pics they all look so tired and pale lol. Also in those pics they don't have make up and such so its much more real. And hey, it has been 10 years since they formed so I wouldn't expect them to stay young forever. But they still give off such a great energy. Probably even more so now than before.

And yea in the raison d'etre PV Die's hair did look one sided but I kind of liked it. Hehehe.

I liked it and thought it was very good. I really like how they did somewhat acknowledge the VK stuff, even if they really haven't VK for the past 2 years now. I thought it was ok.

^I thought Die and Toshiya's answers were really good. I guess now I feel I know more about they think about the tour and their reasons for joining. And about the whole VK thing, I think it's right of them to try to get away from that and move on. I mean, people keep pigeon holing them into the whole "visual keiness" when that's not what they're about anymore. And like the article said, they left all their costumes behind and now they're just using their music and performances to capture people's attentions. I like it!

i read it..... 3 times. <.<; i really enjoyed it. i also found it interesting that they (Warcon) are wanting to set up deals with several JRock bands. i honestly don't blame the band for their thoughts on re-recording the old songs with English lyrics. it's better that way. *nods* i'm afraid that if they did, it would completely ruin the songs. i mean, don't get me wrong, the band could probably pull off getting the English lyrics written so that those of us who are naturally English speakers could understand them, but, have any of you actually tried reading the English lyrics provided in his lyric books to the same tempo/melody that he uses in the Japanese song? it's d*mn near impossible! they would have to even get new music for some of the songs. i can't think of any right off the top of my head, but i know that there are some. anyway, next thing.... Go Toshiya for saying that he doesn't want them to be associated strictly with anime and manga fans. it's okay if their fans are also fans to anime and manga, just.. they want to be liked for their musical ability, not because they are Japanese, and so are anime and manga. and.... why would Die think we (Americans) would 'throw PET bottles at' them??? we're not all -that- bad.... ;.; i mean, at most outdoor concerts, which is pretty much what FV consists of, the majority of American concert goers are too drunk or high to even notice what the band on stage is doing or saying to begin with, so how would they be able to throw anything at them? i mean, sure, they could try, but they would be off by quite a bit. though, i believe in OKC, someone with a VIP pass actually threw an unopened beer at Toshiya. it didn't hit him, and i think it was more -to- than -at-. i had looked over there to take a pic, and saw this random beer flying toward Toshiya's place. he was more toward front-center of the stage at the time. and, yes, Nana, it was a good thing that they brought up the VK. even though they have officially been out of VK since late 01/early 02, that label is still following them around. i'd imagine it is rather irritating for them. in fact, i've stopped referring to them as ever having been in VK, unless i'm trying to make a point about Shinya's and Toshiya's more feminine appearances. basically, if someone says that they "have to be a woman" based simply on one of their more recent pics (ie 2004), i try to explain that they are men, and then i show them a pic of the band when they were VK, and explain that it is when they were and that they no longer are, and then have them look at the first pic again... usually, they can see them all as men that time, but if not, then i pull out my Cure mag. and show them a female JRocker... that usually gets some pretty interesting resposes.
