Dir en grey

hey sorry this kinda interrupts the flow of conversation 🙇‍♂️ but...i just recently got the 5 ugly kingdom dvd (which btw is OH MY GOD SO UNBELIEVABLY AWESOME 😍) anddd...was just wondering there is only one secret file right? just to double check...i don't want to miss out on anything especially for the amount i paid for it  (though it was DEFINITELY worth it xD) anyways..sorry to interrupt and thanks for any help ^__^

To answer your question yes 5 ugly kingdom does have hidden clips on it I don't remember how many, but it does. Also it's only on the offical japanese version of the dvd so if you have one that says Miya - XXXX on it then it's the bootlegged one.

It's the offical one, but it should also have the drinking contest on it as a hidden or secret file or clip.

i dont have an lj....can u give me some assistance like an url or something or the name of the community?...ill create one just to get a ticket T_T much thanks...

check this place it's the only one I've seen them at [email protected]

y r so many people trying to make a profit off of them....its like they lost their true fan sprit at the cost of greed..... i dont think the people trying to make a profit off of deg should be called actual fans especially the ones that r trying to make a sale with la tickets because of what happened with nyc tickets

Yep i'm serious and too be honest I don't know how to access it at all I've seen it once when my aunt accessed it on hers, but I never asked her how to access it. Also your welcome with the heads up =)

My favorite Dir en Grey songs (because I can't pick just one):
Raison D'etre
Cage
Mask
Yokan
The Final
Embryo (both vers.)
Mushi
Audience Killer Loop
Shokubeni
Red...(em)
Marmalade Chainsaw
Obscure

And my favorite band member is Kyo-sama.

My current favorite is probably Kodou. Though my all time foavorite, of course, is
-ZAN-. Strange, because I kind of prefer their more "normal" stuff over their crazy stuff (ex: my favorite song on Macabre is Wake).

I mostly like their dark/sinister/morbid songs. As far as their "crazy" stuff goes...Pink Killer has forever scared me. o.O Thank you Kyo, I needed that.
I tend to go for the more Goth stuff (Kyo, please, don't kill me for calling some of Dir en Grey's music "Goth"), more of the songs that make you think instead of just freaking/grossing you out. Although sometimes I am just in that need-to-be-grossed-out mood but most of the time not.

Wow, this thread is quite old! ☝ anyway, I can't remember if I already posted on here, but I can't pick just one favourite Dir en grey song, here's my list 😊
Pink Killer
Machiavellism
Dead Tree
Red... [em]
Spilled Milk
Jealous
Cage
Fukai
Hydra
Drain Away

I don't have a problem with their morbid and goth stuff (I don't have a problem with any of their music when it gets down to it). It's just that a lot of songs from their GAUZE/Macabre days are really strange. Take Myaku for example. Great song, but the music and the vocals are just weird. It wasn't until Vulgar, and now WTD, that I've been able to enjoy most, if not all, of a CD straight through, without skipping around to what song I have an urge to listen to.

And you forgot Kodou, Kinsao!!

<--- Has listened to Kodou on repeat for about an hour now

See, that's one of the things I love about their earlier days is that they have a lot of "normal" straight singing songs as well as friggin vocally insane songs. Like Mask for example, vocally and musically it's all over the place but that's what, to me, makes it so fun to listen to. Now this can make their early music a bit...weird to listen to 'cause it seems to be all or nothing when it comes to Kyo's vocal oddities etc. It's like the song is either INSANE or just "normal" without any middle ground between the two, there's no real balance or anything to through you for loops. That was something Kyo said about Vulgar, he said that he wanted to change it up and make songs that were unpredictable because he found just straight singing or just straight screaming to be boring.

Obscure is definitely great. As is Merciless Cult, dead tree, and Kodou. Yes, I said Kodou yet again. Shuddup. :p
