"Dainihonjin(窶佚･窶愿ｺ窶怒ﾂ人ﾂ）", has anyone seen it?

When it was premiered at the Cannes film festival, apparently, some of the audiences had left the theater before the film was finished, which supposedly is not unusual but neverthless, disappointed the director Hitoshi Matsumoto who was a first time director. Takeshi Kitano, well known film director, commended Matsumoto's directing skill as better than most of the other movie directors'.
I've been always a huge fun of Matchan, but I only have been able to watch a very short trailer of the movie. I'm not even sure it will make it to the US release, probably not. The trailer looks good, and I'm so anxious to see the whole thing.
If anyone here has seen it, can you please share your opinions? Was it pretty wacky or dumb?

I just watched the trailer, and I must say it looks like a weird movie, not for everyone's taste. Wacky, indeed !

To bad I don't have time to go to the cinema, guess I have to wait for it to come out on video (and even then I am not sure if it has subtitles... aaa what ever I don't need them).
