Here in Maine some total AHole got in a fight with his girlfriend(he's also has a wife!). Her cat was in labor and she called him to take her & the cat to the vet. He got ripped and put the cat in carrier in the driveway and ran it over and killed it to teach her a lesson. The judge gave him 4 years in prison, then 4 years of probation on getting out & a big fine. I would have taken him out to shoot but I guess 4 years in a cell with big bubba is some justice!

POOR KITTY! :(

I would throw him to the tigers in the zoo, (best revenge ever, as he gets his @ss beaten up by big kitties)...

Four years is way too short... He should've got the same fine as for murder, as that is what it was! :auch:
Best best would be electrical chair or something.

even if 4 years may not seem long, I like how crushing it must've been to him... I mean think about it. the guy gets a fit, instead of beating his girl (cuz that would send him to prison) he takes it out on the cats.. no reprecussions.. or so he thought.. when you expect nothing, having 4 years slammed in your face by the judge must hurt.

personally I think 4 years sounds about right.. people have gotten less for rape.
I don't like it when people are mean to animals like that, but in my mind they're still animals (cold aren't I?), and I think we should try to fix the broken laws for chrimes against humans first.

how would you like to be raped and see the guy in the next courtroom that killed a cat get more time than your assailant? not so much maybe?

Although I'm not very fond of cats I do not condone this guys actions, and so I feel he has been sentenced adequately.

I have another animal related slaying that I will post taken from the Star Tribune Newspaper :

Two felony charges in dog's shooting
November 17, 2004 DOG1117

An Eagan man faces two felony charges after he allegedly shot and killed his family's nine-month-old Labrador on Sunday after he found it chewing on a book and carpeting.

Bart A. Swedin, 38, is charged with animal cruelty and reckless discharge of a firearm.

A family friend called Eagan police about 1 a.m. Sunday. Swedin admitted to police that he was drunk at the time and also admitted to shooting the dog, the complaint said.

Swedin's wife and children were sleeping in a room above the area where he shot the dog, according to the complaint.

He was released from the Dakota County jail Tuesday afternoon after posting bail.

The latest from the StarTribune

I have a feeling that this guy will not get much of a sentence at all, which is very tragic. He blames the whole situation on him being drunk, but if you were to slay a person in the same situation, then you are liable for 1st degree murder. Also, this dude shot the puppy 3 times in the head while his family was in the house, I mean what kinda lunatic would do this typr of action.
