Book reconmmendations on Japanese cooking

Does anyone know of any good Japanese cooking books that are simple and easy to follow, also available in the UK (would rather check the book out first)

I really cant cook all that much Did some experimentation cooking but came out as a complete wreck Need a book to help me learn with instructions that a 6yr old can follow as I am completely lol

Japanese cooking can be a disaster if you skip the elementary stage and try the sophisticated ones served at restaurants.

Here is a website showing very basic Japanese recipes in English. Try from the simpler ones and work your way up!

When you think you're confident, I recommend you get this book for a cooking specialist very well known in Japan for her simple but creative adaptations of traditional Japanese, as well as Western, cuisine.
