I've lived in both locations and you will do better in the latter.

I live in North Carolina also, in Jacksonville. I have resided in NYC, Philadelphia, Oahu, Dade-Metro FL, and in a number of places around the world. I live in Jacksonville, NC by choice.

I live in Austin, Texas. It's a very lovely city with a young, liberal and highly-educated population. What it's doing in the middle of Texas, I have no idea. Here's a photo of Zilker Park during the opening day of the Austin City Limits Music Festival (downtown skyline can be seen in the back):

 
I was born in Puerto Rico, but I live in Orlando, Florida...I've been living here for about 6 or 7 years...I like it...it's nice ^^
 
I live in hayward, California. It's an okay place to live.
 
i live in a place called sylacauga alabama(pronounced SIL uh cog uh) it is a really small town
but the blue jeans u r wearing right now come from here
and so does the fertilizer you fertilize your plants with
o yeah and all that marble in ancient greece and rome comes from here
its boring here
 
right smack dab in the middle of the country...Oklahoma City, OK...we have four seasons...and it's not rare to experience them all within 2 weeks around here :arghh:...gotta love it though, not too tough, a pretty nice place to raise a family- but i have got to get the heck outta here...I'm destined for bigger things

Quite evenly distributed, meaning US of America is well represented on JForum. But definitely Pacific & West Coast rules !

I am originally from New York, but I moved to West Virginia.
So I lived in New York, but now it's WV. Even though I still feel like I live in NY.

I've lived in Florida and Colorado. Now I'm trying out New Mexico.
 
Wow... and I thought I was the only one from "The Deep South" ...5 other people either that or 5 people who thought it would be funny to pick the crappiest section of the country...

I prefer to refer to where I live as Decadent City (I'm from New Orleans... haha)

I don't know which is worse: you living in a place that could break off into an island someday, or me living in a place where torandos like to play.

Anyone who gets up to the Niagra Falls area is free to drop me a note. I know where all the good spots to shop and drink are as well as the good photo ops.
 
I live in California and have never lived anywhere outside the state yep and I'd never move either lol I'd miss it too much sun/rain
