How old are you and what is the age range of a partner you'd consider for a serious relationship (not just dating or "fooling around")?

I'm 28 and I'd date a girl who was from 22 to 34 years of age.

I'm 22 and at the present time I wouldn't mind having a serious relationship with a girl from age 20 to 28 :) don't want to go under the 20-barrier...at least not with european girls (especially Belgian  ) !

The older I've gotten, the wider my range has gotten, which I guess is normal. You can't really date a girl who's six years older or younger than you when you're 17. When I was a senior in high school (18) I dated a girl who was a sophomore (16). Only two years, but it seemed like kind of a big deal at the time. Now a two year difference would be like we were the same age.

hmmmm im 21, so i guess 18-35( look at mariah carey :p) is all good, there could be exeptions. Legally in Belgium the age is 16, but I don't think i could go that low, wouldn't seem right....

but optimally i would look for 20-30 right now... for just fooling around or serious i donna, i'm in a weird situation already so I don't really know what to make of it...

older women really appeal to me though, what can i say ....

If there is one thing that i have learned lately though is that sometimes age is really just but number

It just hit me, Jref is full of ladies within my range, could that be a reason :p

umm im 22 and id say 19-25 or so

its hard if the other person is at a different stage in their lives than you are...

Yeah, in my case it's probably more compatible for me to date younger because I've recently returned to school and have a much younger lifestyle than most people my age (as in: I'm broke, I'm not in a career, not looking to buy a house, and I'm not really thinking about marriage or kids (yet) - things like that). I might not be able to relate to older girls in these ways.

two years either side of my age, otherwise the age-gap causes a few problems which , at 20 years old, is big but...i dont have to worry about dating at the mo.

hehehe, u haven't met eastern european girls my friend, some of them if they hook you, you're in it for the rest of your lifeeee 😊
but I actuallly really like that attitude :-)

I'm 19, and I don't think I'd look two much older than me...maybe only a year. Same thing going younger. I guess I just like being around people my age.

As I am married my answer is purely hypothetical! I would say 25 - 35, but I have met people older that I find attractive, so I suppose it wouldn't matter if the person was hot! I wouldn't turn down Keanu Reeves, and he is nearly 41! 😊

18-24, and 24 is pushing it. It really depends on the personality. I would never date someone over 30 though.
