I am not good with introductions, especially if it is in Japanese. I haven't practiced introductions in Japanese yet. But yes, my name is Lily. ^_^ I was born and raised in Canada, so English is my native language. I also know Vietnamese because it's my culture.
I have been studying Japanese for a year and a month. I don't know how far I progressed though. But I think I progressed well enough where I can speak to people in Japanese... a bit hehe!
I love learning new languages. I am starting to learn Korean now, but Japanese remains my top prority in learning. After all, I am still continuing my learning in the Japanese language as well as everything about the Japanese culture.
I came to love the Japanese culture mainly through Anime, Manga and Videogames. I then started to listen to more music (Japanese rock and pop, yay!) and then I decided: I really want to learn the language.
I spent time reading about Japanese history (I don't remember anything from it though unfortunately... neither do I remember my own country, Canada, and its history!) and I read about the lifestyles, traditions, geography and etc.
That's when my interest in Japan kind of blossomed to well... a real big loads of love haha!
