I dont know what is the subject determined by the "が" particle. I don't think it's mosquito.

I think it means that "The dimension gate was opened when the new [subject] woke up"

What you saw is a kanji 力[ちから], not a katakana カ.

Where did you find it, and why that カ is in katakana?

The whole thing makes a lot more sense this way to me

新たな力「ちから」 目覚めし時 次元の扉が開かれる.

Also pay attention to the tense of the verb 開かれる, its not talking about the past.

が here is related to ちから

Try out KanjiTomo, it'll detect the Japanese word under your cursor - from anywhere on the screen - and put it in a text field where you can copy-paste it, also providing an English translation. It even works on the slightly cursive text you wanted to translate.

I found it here 『CLOSERS』公式サイト | SEGA
I had to draw the kanjis one by one on a kanji site because we can't select the text on the picture.

The sentence is below the logo.
In the end, it is the problem of vocabulary. Indeed there exist many confusing kanji and kana. For instance, クローザーズ can be seen as クロ一ザ一ズ(kanji 一) or クロ-ザ-ズ(hyphen) in the page you linked, but you were able to recognize it correctly, right? In fact, although you used katakana カ in the title of this thread, I read it as kanji 力 from the context without any doubt.
