誰かにお話しするほどのことでもないなって。うちの主人なんかもぜんぜん信じないし、「それはゲシュタルト崩壊だね。誰もたまに文字が文字に見えなくなったりするよ」とか見当違いのことを得意げに言うだけだし。

Hi. What is the function of the なって in bold?
And by the way, what does なんかも mean here? Isn't it used to belittle someone?

It's just the sentence ending particle な plus quotative て, used as a kind of rhetorical self-reflection.

Yes, なんかも is kind of belittling and derogatory. In Japanese language/culture, it's common to "lower" your in-group members, like family.
