どういたしまして not humble enough?

I've just read that is was not commanded to use どういたしまして because not humble enough.
Is that so? Or are there specific occasions to use it?
Too formal perhaps?

I always use that term with my tutor, and she has never commented that it was out of term, or even corrected me on that phrase. This is the first I've heard of it. Perhaps I am wrong too?
 
Well, I can't fully agree with the site and pdf file you provided. どういたしまして is really used with no problem in daily life (in appropriate situations, of course). Also, all other expressions, such like いえいえ, こちらこそ, とんでもありません(more polite than とんでもないです, which you'd better not to use in very formal situations such like business scenes) or even ありがとうございます, can be used sarcastically. It totally depends on the context, e.g., the tone you say it.
 

That's good to know, I'm under impression that どういたしましてis maybe less popular among young people online... I don't know. It surprised me.
